El objetivo fundamental de este módulo es que los alumnos adquieran un conocimiento teórico y eminentemente práctico acerca de las instalaciones electricas interiores y de los diferentes elementos que las componen, así como de los criterios de cálculo y selección, principalmente desde el punto de vista del Reglamento Electrónico para Baja tensión. El libro se ha dividido en once unidades didácticas. Cada una de ellas se compone de: -Parte central donde se desarrollan los diferentes conceptos. Estos van acompañados de ejemplos resueltos cuando se requiere y actividades para su resolución. -El proyecto. Teoría acerca de cómo se debe presentar un proyecto y los documentos que lo componen. En la última unidad didáctica se muestra la resolución de un proyecto eléctrico de un edificio destinado a viviendas, como conclusión a los conocimientos adquiridos a lo largo del curso. -Autoevaluación. Ejercicios para que el alumno compruebe los conocimientos adquiridos. -Prácticas de taller. Se trata de una prácticas (en total 49), generalmente relacionadas con la teoría explicada en la unidad didáctica, para aprender de una manera aplicada cómo se deben realizar las instalaciones electricas interiores y cómo conocer las peculiaridades a tener en cuenta con los materiales utilizados. En lo que se refiere a la ordenación de los contenidos, las primeras seis unidades didácticas se dedican a la introducción de los conceptos más básicos de la electrotecnia, el estudio de los elementos y componentes más importantes, los aparatos de medida y procesos de medición, la iluminación, la prevención de riesgos laborales, las herramientas utilizadas y los dispositivos de protección. A partir de la unidad didáctica 7 se inicia el estudio de las instalaciones electricas interiores propiamente dicho, atendiendo a las diferentes Instrucciones Tecnicas Complementarias del REBT: la normativa vigente, cálculos de líneas, instalaciones interiores en viviendas y en locales especiales y finalmente la puesta a tierra de las mismas. Este libro es muy versátil y se puede utilizar siguiendo el orden que cada profesor estime conveniente, sin embargo, recomendamos que se comience por la unidad didáctica 1 y así sucesivamente, combinando la teoría y ejercicios con las prácticas de taller, ya que hemos tenido especial atención en ordenar los conocimientos con un nivel progresivo de dificultad.
