Book excerpt: Prophetess Dr. D Developing a sharpened understanding of internal instincts and external cues, Prophetess Dr. D's supernatural discernment has positioned her as a proven connoisseur in spiritual connections. Driven by a close call with death and a second chance at life, Dr. D has leveraged her insights to provide healing and counsel to the lost, broken, and those seeking answers. Her dedication to helping others through spreading the word of Jesus has transformed the reality of many lives, especially those who doubt His power. Dr. D was born to Evelyn Smith, a single mother who stressed the importance of hard work. More importantly her mother instilled the critical foundation of an ever-growing relationship with God, always providing words of wisdom and pushing for excellence. Sundays were church days. As a child she enjoyed singing, travelling, and indulging in the Word of God. Becoming a business owner and professional writer were early aspirations. Reading much of Khalil Gibran's literature, the role of "The Prophet" carried deep significance. Dr. D went on to study at the Canadian College of Science and Technology, receiving certification as an Early Childhood Education and later studied Incident Management, Emergency Management and Practical Interview at George Brown College. A personal relationship with God encountered new depths after a near-death experience, one which she describes as the moment God revealed Himself and explained her purpose: to heal and spread the Word. Not long after, she began to see and feel life beyond the worldly realm. Viewing spiritually and not with the naked eye was where she tapped into her gift of delivering herbal remedies with extreme healing power. Dr. D believes her purpose is to deliver God's Word, even to those who aren't looking for Him. Providing sound counsel and direction from above, she continues to be used as an instrument and vessel of peace. She devotes her success to the most High, blessing all creeds, races, and souls directed to her care. When she is not infiltrating the spirits of others with positivity and love, Dr. D is usually spending time with God, her three daughters, and family; reading; and keeping an open ear for direction from Jesus. She expresses a continued passion for building healthy homes, helping the less fortunate and sick, and staying involved with the Family Rescue International Ministry. When asked about the legacy she is creating, she describes "a God-fearing woman who loves and respects her creator Jesus, full of compassion, love and dedication to always put others first." She prays that her children will continue her work long after she leaves this earth. Dr. D is currently working on a series of books and projects to come, naming her most recent book Herbal Healing of the Nation: the story of her spiritual reckoning and healing, purposed to reach the world, tell the world, and show the world the power, love and glory of God.

Book Ellen G White Prophet of Destiny

Download or read book Ellen G White Prophet of Destiny written by Rene Noorbergen and published by TEACH Services, Inc.. This book was released on 2011-10-26 with total page 264 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In April, 1906 Ellen G. White was granted a vision foreseeing the destruction of the city of San Francisco. Two days later, an earthquake struck, leveling the city. Once again, Ellen G. White had somehow seen into the future. Since girlhood, she had had more than 2,000 visions, revealing truths of religion, history, medicine and nutrition, often foreshadowing scientific discoveries yet to be made. Inspired by these visions and her sense of the presence of God, Ellen G. White worked throughout her life, first to help found the Seventh-day Adventist Church, then to spread its word around the world. She lived to see it become one of the major religious forces of our time; and during her lifetime, wrote more than fifty books which have been translated into one hundred languages and sold in the millions of copies. All of this she accomplished in the face of dire poverty, with no formal schooling beyond the third grade. Rene Noorbergen's bestseller is a full and fascinating portrait of a truly remarkable, yet strangely little-known woman.

Book The Female Prophets of the Bible

Download or read book The Female Prophets of the Bible written by The Rev. Debra Moody Bass PH.D and published by WestBow Press. This book was released on 2018-01-18 with total page 93 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book highlights five female prophets that have prophesied in both the Old Testament and New Testament. The book encourages women to accept their calling from God at whatever level God appoints them. Too often the female characters in the Bible have all been lumped together under the category women in the Bible. This has diminished the role women like Deborah and Anna have played in Gods plan for salvation. God is no respecter of persons. God uses whom God chooses, no matter the gender.
