Los objetivos son: 1.- Proponer, elaborar y actualizar normas y procedimientos sobre prevencion, atencion y control de danos a la salud en caso de accidente. 2.- Establecer medidas preventivas acordes al avance tecnologico, cientifico, familiar y social. 3.- Determinar los factores de riesgo por los cuales se presentan los accidentes, en la poblacion atendida por la Secretaria de Salud. 4.- Capacitar y actualizar al personal responsable de dirigir y operacionalizar las acciones preventivas, de atencion y control de accidentes(AU).
