Book Producci n ejecutiva de proyectos cinematogr ficos Autor Alejandro Pardo

Download or read book Producci n ejecutiva de proyectos cinematogr ficos Autor Alejandro Pardo written by Alejandro Pardo and published by Ediciones Universidad de Navarra, EUNSA. This book was released on 2015-08-27 with total page 486 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.

Download or read book Fundamentos de producci n y gesti n de proyectos audiovisuales written by Alejandro Pardo Fernández and published by Ediciones Universidad de Navarra. This book was released on 2016-04-07 with total page 197 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.

Download or read book Communication and Technology written by Lorenzo Cantoni and published by Walter de Gruyter GmbH & Co KG. This book was released on 2015-08-31 with total page 588 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The primary goal of the Communication and Technology volume (5th within the series "Handbooks of Communication Science") is to provide the reader with a comprehensive compilation of key scholarly literature, identifying theoretical issues, emerging concepts, current research, specialized methods, and directions for future investigations. The internet and web have become the backbone of many new communication technologies, often transforming older communication media, through digitization, to make them compatible with the net. Accordingly, this volume focuses on internet/web technologies. The essays cover various infrastructure technologies, ranging from different kinds of hard-wired elements to a range of wireless technologies such as WiFi, mobile telephony, and satellite technologies. Audio/visual communication is discussed with reference to large-format motion pictures, medium-sized television and video formats, and the small-screen mobile smartphone. There is also coverage of audio-only media, such as radio, music, and voice telephony; text media, in such venues as online newspapers, blogs, discussion forums and mobile texting; and multi-media technologies, such as games and virtual reality.

Book The Connector Manager

Download or read book The Connector Manager written by Jaime Roca and published by Random House. This book was released on 2019-09-19 with total page 272 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The best managers work smarter, not harder After conducting a unique global study of over 9,000 people, analysts at the world-leading sales research firm Gartner identified four distinct types of manager. Incredibly, they found one type consistently performs far better than the rest, and it wasn’t the one they were expecting. Connector Managers understand that it’s not enough for managers to just encourage and teach employees themselves, and that providing constant coaching to employees can actually be detrimental to their independent development. Instead, by connecting employees to others in the team or organisation, Connector Managers can help their employees develop a range of skills beyond their own areas of expertise. Although the four types of managers are more or less evenly distributed, employees with Connector Managers perform significantly better than others. Employees with Always-on Managers who provide constant feedback and coaching perform significantly worse. Drawing on their ground-breaking data-driven research, as well as in-depth case studies and extensive interviews with thousands of managers, you’ll discover what behaviours define Connector Managers and how you can use them yourself to build brilliant, powerhouse teams.

Book The Film Archipelago

Download or read book The Film Archipelago written by Antonio Gómez and published by Bloomsbury Publishing. This book was released on 2021-12-16 with total page 466 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: How do the islands and archipelagos of the New World figure in Latin American cinema? Comprising 15 essays and a critical introduction, The Film Archipelago: Islands in Latin American Cinema addresses this question by examining a series of intersections between insular spaces and filmmaking in Latin America. The volume brings together international scholars and filmmakers to consider a diverse corpus of films about islands, films that take place on islands, films produced in islands, and films that problematise islands. The book explores a diverse range of films that extend from the Chilean documentaries of Patricio Guzmán to work on the Malvinas/Falkland Islands, and films by Argentine directors Gustavo Fontán and Lucrecia Martel. Chapters focus on Rapa Nui (Easter Island), the Mexican Islas Marías, and the Panamanian Caribbean; on ecocritical, environmental and film historical aspects of Brazilian and Argentine river islands; and on Cuban, Guadeloupean, Haitian, and Puerto Rican contexts. The Film Archipelago argues that the islands and archipelagos of Latin American cinema constitute a critically interesting, analytically complex, and historically suggestive angle to explore issues of marginality and peripherality, remoteness and isolation, and fragility and dependency. As a whole, the collection demonstrates to what extent the combined insular and archipelagic lens can re-frame and re-figure both longstanding and recent discussions on the spaces of Latin American cinema.
