Para isso, procuramos discutir os procedimentos de orientação e os critérios estabelecidos pelo professor no momento da produção e da avaliação textual.Como problema de pesquisa desse trabalho, questionamos como o professor de 4a. série deve avaliar o texto de seu aluno a fim de orientá-lo para um bom desempenho na 5a. série; e como o professor desta série deve estabelecer suas expectativas em relação ao aluno que vem daquela com o objetivo de elaborar critérios de avaliação sobre a produção textual do aluno. Com isso, procuramos evidenciar a importância do estabelecimento de um acordo prévio entre professor e aluno durante o processo de produção textual, bem como a necessidade de quebra da ruptura que existe na passagem da 4a. para 5a. série, no que se refere à forma como acontece a avaliação da produção textual. Para tanto, refletimos sobre a proposta de avaliação realizada pelos professores de 4a. e de 5a. séries, confrontando-a com a nossa sugestão a partir da análise dos textos selecionados para esse estudo. Avaliamos, por fim, a necessidade de o professor compreender a linguagem de forma dialógica e de conceber a textualidade como as características que fazem com que um texto não seja apenas um amontoado de frases e que, portanto, só será conseguida se o produtor do texto for orientado para tal.
