Uhlmann, Chairman of the Local Organizing Committee. This was followed by speeches of welcome from F. Magirius, City President of Leipzig; C. Weiss, Rector of the Uni versity of Leipzig; and A. Jaffe, President of the International Association of Mathematical Physics."
