Today, online technologies are at the core of most fields of engineering, as well as of society as a whole, and are inseparably connected with Internet of Things, cyber-physical systems, collaborative networks and grids, cyber cloud technologies, service architectures, to name but a few. Since it was first held in, 2004, the REV conference has focused on the increasing use of the Internet for engineering tasks and the problems surrounding it.
