En ella se analizan los discursos y las prácticas de los docentes de una escuela pública en torno a este tema así como algunos condicionantes culturales y estructurales que estaban conformando las realidades socioeducativas observadas v las subjetividades de las personas investigadas. Además, debido al enfoque epistemológico postestructural adoptado, también se ofrecen algunos elementos que pueden permitir al posible lector/a deconstruir y objetivar el propio proceso de objetivación realizado por la investigadora en esta investigación; permitiéndole a dicho lector/a ubicarse en una posición de saber y de poder más enriquecedora y libre desde la que reinterpretar y cuestionar el conocimiento generado en este trabajo. En el primer capitulo se presenta una breve descripción del tema objeto de estudio así como una justificación epistemológica de las decisiones metodológicas tomadas en esta investigación. En el segundo capitulo se explicitan las conceptualizaciones de la investigadora sobre las realidades sociales (y el papel de los medios de comunicación de masas en ellas) y sobre la educación escolar. En el tercer capítulo se presentan unos breves apuntes históricos sobre el tema de esta investigación en el panorama internacional y en el estado español así como un estudio bibliográfico en el que se enumeran algunos problemas curriculares a tener en cuenta desde una perspectiva pedagógica critica. En el cuarto capitulo se relatan las decisiones metodológicas tomadas en el diseño y en el desarrollo practico del trabajo de campo y se incluye el "Informe especifico del estudio de caso sobre el grupo investigado". En el quinto capitulo se detallan algunas consideraciones finales tanto sobre el tema objeto de estudio como sobre algunas cuestiones epistemológicas referidas a este informe total.
