Download or read book Architecture des ordinateurs Principes fondamentaux written by BLANCHET Gérard and published by Lavoisier. This book was released on 2013-02-01 with total page 370 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.

This book was released on 2006-09-01 with total page 1179 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Since fall 2006: a new, revised edition of Unidroit Principles in Practice, featuring approximately 120-130 cases. The UNIDROIT Principles of International Commercial Contacts, published in 1994, were an entirely new approach to international contract law. Prepared by a group of eminent experts from around the world as a “restatement” of international commercial contract law, the Principles are not a binding instrument but are referred to in many legal matters. They are widely recognized now as a balanced set of rules designed for use throughout the world irrespective of the legal traditions and the economic and political conditions of the countries in which they are applied.
Download or read book The Law of Electronic Commerce and the Internet in the UK and Ireland written by Steve Hedley and published by Taylor & Francis. This book was released on 2017-09-29 with total page 332 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: 'Internet law' and 'electronic commerce law' are new entities and as such there is some difficulty in defining this rapidly changing area of the law. Scholars are divided as to whether it is a subject in its own right or part of a broader area and there is also debate concerning its status as a new law or as old law which needs interpreting in a new way. This text helps the student to unravel this complicated area of law and provides guidance through the wealth of literature available on the topic. The text is for law students coming towards the end of their first degree, or taking a Masters. The first half focuses on the principles of electronic commerce law and includes an introduction to the law of the Internet, basic concepts in intellectual property law, privacy law and data protection. The second part deals with rights and duties in the online world including, liabilities, ownership and contracts. Technical operations are explained in the text as necessary and a glossary provides a guide to the more commonly encountered computer technicalities. With a supporting website providing links to online further reading, this textbook is ideal for students of e-commerce law and will provide those studying information technology law or practising commercial law with an indispensable introduction to Internet issues.

Download or read book The French Language and Questions of Identity written by Wendy Ayres-Bennett and published by MHRA. This book was released on 2007 with total page 255 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Our choice of linguistic code is one of the most fundamental ways open to us of establishing our membership of some groups and our distance from others. This symbolic value of language may often leave it open to exploitation, especially by the state. The present volume demonstrates how the multi-faceted nature of the concept of identity makes its relationship with language both complex and unpredictable. Because of its particular historical and social characteristics, the French language provides especially fertile territory for the exploration of this theme. Four main axes stand out in the French context: 'institutionalised' identity, regional identity, social identity and competing identities. These themes are explored from different perspectives by leading experts from Britain, Europe and North America: Roger Baines, Kate Beeching, Danielle Bouverot, David Cowling, Edith Esch, François Gadet, Penelope Gardner-Chloros, David Hornsby, John E. Joseph, Dominique Lagorgette, Jacques Landrecies, Dawn Marley, Nicolas Pepin, Tim Pooley, Gilles Siouffi, Albert Valdman, Barbara von Gemmingen and Chantal Wionet.
Download or read book Principles of Electron Optics Volume 3 written by Peter W. Hawkes and published by Academic Press. This book was released on 2022-02-21 with total page 562 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Principles of Electron Optic: Volume Three: Wave Optics, discusses this essential topic in microscopy to help readers understand the propagation of electrons from the source to the specimen, and through the latter (and from it) to the image plane of the instrument. In addition, it also explains interference phenomena, notably holography, and informal coherence theory. This third volume accompanies volumes one and two that cover new content on holography and interference, improved and new modes of image formation, aberration corrected imaging, simulation, and measurement, 3D-reconstruction, and more. The study of such beams forms the subject of electron optics, which divides naturally into geometrical optics where effects due to wavelength are neglected, with wave optics considered. - Includes authoritative coverage of the fundamental theory behind electron beams - Describes the interaction of electrons with solids and the information that can be obtained from electron-beam techniques - Addresses recent, relevant research topics, including new content on holography and interference, new modes of image formation, 3D reconstruction and aberration corrected imaging, simulation and measurement
Download or read book Code mondial de l ex cution digitale Global Code of Digital Enforcement written by Marc Schmitz and published by Bruylant. This book was released on 2021-12-15 with total page 62 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. =============== Every three years the UIHJ organises an international congress, which provides an occasion to reflect and discuss future developments. The theme of the Washington, DC (USA) congress in 2006, “The harmonisation of enforcement procedures in an area of justice without borders”, enshrined the birth of the Global Code of Enforcement. The Code was published in 2015 on the occasion the work of the international congress of judicial officers in Madrid (Spain), laying the foundations for universal harmonisation of the rules of enforcement. Since then, the UIHJ has been working on building a set of standards, to provide all States with simple, effective principles to allow all judicial systems to use a common language.

Download or read book Rotating Electrical Machines written by René Le Doeuff and published by John Wiley & Sons. This book was released on 2013-03-04 with total page 204 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In this book a general matrix-based approach to modeling electrical machines is promulgated. The model uses instantaneous quantities for key variables and enables the user to easily take into account associations between rotating machines and static converters (such as in variable speed drives). General equations of electromechanical energy conversion are established early in the treatment of the topic and then applied to synchronous, induction and DC machines. The primary characteristics of these machines are established for steady state behavior as well as for variable speed scenarios. Important new applications for this technology (such as wind turbines, electric propulsion systems for large ships, etc.) are addressed and the book is illustrated with a large number of informative and detailed photographs, provided by various companies at the leading edge of research and applications in the field.

=========== Yves Poullet has not merely served but excelled in all functions of the University world. Whether as professor, researcher, director of a research centre or as dean and rector, he has left a lasting impression in the minds of generations of students, researchers, colleagues and peers. He is a preeminent expert on the law of Internet and Information and Communications Technologies who, already in 1979, pioneered one of the first European research centres in the field.
