Book excerpt: Chelsea: It turns out that my mom was sleeping with our landlord in exchange for free rent. The discovery turned my stomach, but now, Elsa’s offered ME to Mr. Richards in her place! But I’m pregnant! How can Mr. Richards want me when I’m expecting? Even more, how can this be happening at all? Mason: I was letting the older woman stay in my garden apartment out of charity, more than anything else. But then her sweet daughter comes to stay. Sure, Chelsea’s expecting but what she doesn’t realize is that I’m attracted to women who are ripe and fertile, with wide hips and big bottoms. So what’s wrong with asking Chelsea to pay the rent with that sassy form? I’ll make it pleasurable … so pleasurable in fact, that she won’t want to leave even after the baby’s born! This is a follow-up to Pregnant and Needy. In this story, Chelsea’s used as a replacement for her mother, but then things go off the rails when she and Mason develop feelings for one another. Sinful? Check. Exciting? Check? Utterly taboo? Check check. You’ll love this story of unexpected romance with a devilishly dirty twist. No cheating, no cliffhangers, and always a HEA for my readers.

Book Jesus Sin and Perfection in Early Christianity

Download or read book Jesus Sin and Perfection in Early Christianity written by Jeffrey S. Siker and published by Cambridge University Press. This book was released on 2015-08-31 with total page 337 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The first full-length study to trace how early Christians came to perceive Jesus as a sinless human being. Jeffrey S. Siker presents a taxonomy of sin in early Judaism and examines moments in Jesus' life associated with sinfulness: his birth to the unwed Mary, his baptism by John the Baptist, his public ministry - transgressing boundaries of family, friends, and faith - and his cursed death by crucifixion. Although followers viewed his immediate death in tragic terms, with no expectation of his resurrection, they soon began to believe that God had raised him from the dead. Their resurrection faith produced a new understanding of Jesus' prophetic ministry, in which his death had been a perfect sacrificial death for sin, his ministry perfectly obedient, his baptism a demonstration of perfect righteousness, and his birth a perfect virgin birth. This study explores the implications of a retrospective faith that elevated Jesus to perfect divinity, redefining sin.

Book Abortion Sin and the State in Thailand

Download or read book Abortion Sin and the State in Thailand written by Andrea Whittaker and published by Routledge. This book was released on 2004-07-29 with total page 260 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book discusses abortion in a non-Western, non-Christian context - in Thailand, where over 300,000 illegal abortions are performed each year by a variety of methods. The book, based on extensive original research in the field, examines a wide range of issues, including stories of the real-life dilemmas facing women, popular representations of abortion in the media, the history of the debate in Thailand and its links to politics. Overall, the work highlights the voices of women and their subjective experiences and perceptions of abortion, and places these 'women's stories' in an analysis of broader socio-political gender and power relations that structure sexuality and women's reproductive health decisions.

Book Pregnant Bodies from Shakespeare to Ford

Download or read book Pregnant Bodies from Shakespeare to Ford written by Katarzyna Burzyńska and published by Routledge. This book was released on 2022-03-24 with total page 271 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book explores how the pregnant body is portrayed, perceived and enacted in Shakespeare’s and his contemporaries’ drama by means of a phenomenological analysis and a recourse to early modern popular medical discourse on reproduction. Phenomenology of pregnancy is a fairly new and radical body of philosophy that questions the post-Cartesian chasm of an almost autonomous reason and an enclosed and self-sufficient (male) body as foundations of identity. Early modern drama, as is argued, was written and staged at the backdrop of revolutionary changes in medicine and science where old and new theories on the embodied self-clashed. In this world where more and more men were expected to steadily grow isolated from their bodies, the pregnant body constituted an embattled contradiction. Indebted to the theories of embodiment this book offers a meticulous and detailed investigation of a plethora of pregnant characters and their “pregnant embodiment” in the pre-modern works by Shakespeare, Middleton, Webster and Ford. The analysis in each chapter argues for an indivisible link between an intensely embodied experience of pregnancy as enacted in space and identity-shaping processes resulting in a more acute sense of selfhood and agency. Despite seemingly disparate experiences of the selected heroines and the repeated attempts at containment of their “unruly” bodies, the ever transforming and “spatial” pregnant identities remain loci of embodied selfhood and agency. This book provocatively argues that fictional characters’ experience reflects tangible realities of early modern women, while often deflecting the scientific consensus on reproduction in the period.

Book David s Sexual Sin Exposed

Download or read book David s Sexual Sin Exposed written by Gery Malanda and published by Gery Malanda. This book was released on with total page 164 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Often when we have surrendered our lives to Jesus Christ and are looking to live a biblical Christian life, the lustful desires of the flesh can present as a stumbling block. Most often these thoughts and sexual desires can prompt feelings of guilt and condemnation especially when the body of Christ is not addressing sexual immorality and appears to tolerate it. Whilst they were still in the world, women will have undergone abortions and others would have engaged in sexual immorality. Once committed in living a Christian life, the guilt and shame of the past life can leave thoughts of being the worst sinners compared to their brethren. Brother Gery Malanda (Apostle and Leader of House Of Prayer For All Nations-Europe and Teacher on TBN Voice of Healing UK) takes a refreshingly honest and scriptural look on dealing with lustful/ sexual thoughts, abortion, masturbation and the husband/wife of the night phenomenon. Brother Gery reflects on his own personal experiences and draws from the testimonies of others to address the issues that often the body of Christ is shy to discuss. Brother Gery provides a biblical guideline on seeking a godly husband and wife. What does the bible give as the criteria? and the steps according to the word of God one should consider. He also points out God’s view on fake marriages and issues a warning to those contemplating it. Lastly Brother Gery has demonstrated through the Word of God that it’s possible to walk in the highway of holiness, how to be transformed and transfigured and how to be a disciple of Jesus Christ not just a mere convert. In a society where sexual immorality is ripe, how can a Christian ensure that they are not conformed to the world but have renewed their mind? This book is a wonderful guide as a look in the mirror to discern if you are still walking in the highway of holiness!
