Download or read book Precedents in Conveyancing Vol 3 written by Thomas George Western and published by . This book was released on 2015-07-22 with total page 390 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Excerpt from Precedents in Conveyancing, Vol. 3: Adapted to the Present State of the Law, Illustrated With Notes, Practical and Critical In writing this work, the Author has studied three essentials - Conciseness, Utility, and Safety. He has endeavoured to avoid the paths of any of his contemporaries, and he trusts that in this he has succeeded. The Precedents will be found to be only such as are strictly applicable to the, everyday practice of an attorney. They are all drafts of actual practice. To introduce any special forms of instruments (he submits) will be quite unnecessary; and there are two sufficient reasons for such an omission - 1st, That an attorney, will not, in any case, take upon himself, the responsibility of preparing, any special instrument without the aid of a conveyancer; 2dly, That every special instrument, depends upon its own peculiar features, and no general rule can consequently be laid down. The work will thus become concise and useful; and, as the law will be found written upon the subject-matter of every Precedent, the attorney, or his clerk, may work upon them with safety. Book Forms and Precedents in Conveyancing

Download or read book Forms and Precedents in Conveyancing written by William Whittaker Barry and published by . This book was released on 2015-07-21 with total page 488 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Excerpt from Forms and Precedents in Conveyancing: With Introduction and Practical Notes The Author was for several years a pupil in the chambers of the late William Hanbury Jones, the eminent conveyancer, and during that period, with the industry of the students of the olden time, he collected and wrote out many manuscript volumes of forms and precedents. Mr. Hanbury Jones was himself a favourite pupil of Richard Preston. The collection of forms bears such honoured names as Sugden, Duval, Preston and Hodgson, and some of them were compiled by Mr. Jones, and all, more or less, revised by him. It seems to have been the practice of Mr. Preston to prepare drafts more from forms than completed precedents, and Mr. Jones inherited and enforced among his pupils the same method. Hence the collection made by the compiler consisted principally of forms. About the Publisher Forgotten Books publishes hundreds of thousands of rare and classic books. Book Every Day Precedents in Conveyancing

Download or read book Every Day Precedents in Conveyancing written by Thomas Wilkinson and published by . This book was released on 2015-08-04 with total page 426 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Excerpt from Every-Day Precedents in Conveyancing: A Collection of Practical Forms Designed for Professional Use and Suited to the Emergencies of Actual Practice, With Notes and a Table of Stamp Duties This work originated in an earnest desire to furnish the Profession with a collection of Precedents in the by-paths of Conveyancing, which might be found useful when time or expense (or both) prevents the employment of more formal and elaborate instruments, or the occasion merely demands a simple form not found in larger and more learned volumes. In the execution of this intention, it was suggested that some Precedents, in strictness formal, elaborate, and costly, might, from their peculiar character or provisions, be inserted without any great detriment to my design, while adding considerably to the completeness of the work and its usefulness in practice. In deference to which suggestion must be attributed such forms found herein as border the great highway of property-alienation. To those students articled in offices where the practice is of a miscellaneous or kaleidoscopic rather than of a specific or conservative character (and such are "legion") I venture to hope some forms will be of considerable assistance.
