Rock samples were collected in the field, with 50 samples submitted for gold and silver assays, 40 for whole-rock geochemistry, and 88 for thin sectioning. Mapping was conducted from May-August 1988. Many of the concepts, faults, and lineaments were interpreted fusing geophysical data in addition to field data. Five-five unaltered samples of major volcanic rock types were selected for whole rock, trace element, and rare earth element geochemical analysis. Eight mineralized and later specimens collected were analyzed for selected trace elements. This report describes the general and economic geology of the area, including a description of gold properties.
