Professeur au Département de l’enseignement au préscolaire et au primaire de la Faculté d’éducation de cette même université, il a contribué à intégrer les nouveaux outils technologiques dans la formation des enseignants du primaire (tableau numérique interactif, iPad, logiciels libres, etc.). Ghislain Samson est titulaire d’un doctorat en didactique des sciences au secondaire de l’UQTR/Université du Québec à Montréal et doyen de la gestion académique des affaires professorales de l’UQTR.
