O capitulo cinco trata do tema meio ambiente, ressaltando a necessidade de conhecimentos ambientais e de segurança para conseguir a proteção desejada dos diversos empreendimentos. Finalmente o capitulo seis apresenta trabalhos na área de comunicação de acidentes, assunto importantíssimo na área de segurança do trabalho, pois uma ação adequada neste sentido auxilia grandemente na preservação da imagem da empresa e na própria segurança das pessoas.
