Dans une première partie, une revue de la littérature nous permettra de réaliser une synthèse des différents types d'informations utilisables dans ce contexte. Dans un second temps, nous réaliserons un questionnaire destiné aux parents afin de mettre en évidence leur connaissance des techniques de sédation cela afin de mieux identifier les points nécessitant un complément d'information. Les réponses obtenues nous permettrons de rédiger un protocole avec des explications claires pour les parents et des informations visuelles accessibles à la compréhension des enfants ayant pour but d'optimiser la préparation de ces séances, Un support de type bande-dessinée voire un support vidéo pourront permettre de présenter les différentes étapes de la séance. Enfin, dans le but d'évaluer l'efficacité de ce protocole, un questionnaire sera distribué après la séance de sédation pour recueillir le ressenti des patients et des parents et déterminer si les informations données ont été bien assimilées. La réussite ou l'échec de la sédation pourra également être mis en relation avec le degré de compréhension du déroulement de la séance. Ce protocole, qui sera appliqué au sein de l'Unité Fonctionnelle d'Odontologie Pédiatrique des Hôpitaux Universitaires de Strasbourg, permettra d'obtenir une meilleure coopération des enfants comme des parents et donc un gain de temps. Il constituera un outil supplémentaire pour le praticien dans le cadre de la préparation de ces patients.

Des expériences ont montrées que l'anxiété pré opératoire était un facteur d'augmentation de complications post opératoire. Dans un premier chapitre nous rappelons les indications des soins dentaires sous anesthésie générale chez l'enfant ainsi que le protocole d'intervention. Le deuxième chapitre est consacré à une revue de littérature sur les solutions déjà mises en place afin de réduire cette anxiété. En odontologie pédiatrique à Strasbourg, il n'existe pas encore de support pour préparer psychologiquement les jeunes enfants et leurs parents à une anesthésie générale. La troisième partie de notre travail consiste à créer cet outil. Afin d'optimiser la réaction de l'enfant face à cet évènement nous avons élaboré deux supports distinct, une plaquette pour les parents et une vidéo destinée aux jeunes enfants.

Situated at the intersections of musicology, history, sound and performance studies, and psychology and trauma studies, Resonant Recoveries argues that modernists' compositions and musical activities were sonorous locations for managing and performing trauma. Through analysis of archival materials, French medical, philosophical, and literary texts, and the music produced between the wars, this book illuminates how music emerged during World War I as an embodied technology of consolation. Child death was the great equaliser of the early modern period, affecting people of all ages and conditions. It is well recognised that the deaths of children struck at the heart of early modern families, yet less known is the variety of ways that not only parents, but siblings, communities and even nations, responded to childhood death. The contributors to this volume ask what emotional responses to child death tell us about childhood and the place of children in society. Placing children and their voices at the heart of this investigation, they track how emotional norms, values, and practices shifted across the fifteenth to nineteenth centuries through different religious, legal and national traditions. This collection demonstrates that child death was not just a family matter, but integral to how communities and societies defined themselves.
