Download or read book The Book Of Enoch written by Robert Henry Charles and published by Lulu.com. This book was released on 2014-09-03 with total page 193 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Book of Enoch is an ancient Jewish religious work, ascribed by tradition to Enoch, the great-grandfather of Noah, although modern scholars estimate the older sections (mainly in the Book of the Watchers) to date from about 300 BC, and the latest part (Book of Parables) probably to the end of the first century BC. It is not part of the biblical canon as used by Jews, apart from Beta Israel. Most Christian denominations and traditions may accept the Books of Enoch as having some historical or theological interest or significance, but they generally regard the Books of Enoch as non-canonical or non-inspired. It is regarded as canonical by the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church and Eritrean Orthodox Tewahedo Church, but not by any other Christian group. It is wholly extant only in the Ge'ez language, with Aramaic fragments from the Dead Sea Scrolls and a few Greek and Latin fragments.
Download or read book The Book of Enoch written by R. H. CHARLES, D.LITT., D.D. and published by Lulu.com. This book was released on 2016-07-24 with total page 77 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: A book of Jewish myth and thinking, the Book of Enoch was a book that was widely used in the first century as a point of reference in Jewish belief. While it is largely unknown exactly when the book was written, it was known to have been written by the time of the New Testament since a passage in the book of Jude comes from this source. While not canonical, this book is an interesting tool to enlightening the myths Jews held onto at the time of Biblical writing.
Download or read book The Real Scriptures of God written by James Platter and published by Xlibris Corporation. This book was released on 2012-08-14 with total page 1176 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Inside the covers of this book you will find the Real Scriptures of the Christian churches. Many church leaders know that other Christian churches hold to these books but they are only willing to state what they have been brain-washed to believe, that is about the other inferior books: "It isnt in the canon" (of scripture) formed of course by the early Catholic Church at various stages and Councils from the fourth century A.D. therefore no one has the right to change what is in the canon of scripture and the Catholic Church changed it in their councils not in agreement of other Christians but to hide their offence at the words of God. They would not even imagine that different churches have different scriptures and assume that the correct canon of scripture must be the one first declared by the Catholic Church and its priests but other priests must be considered demented or apostate, but they are not affected by the changes they made to the canon of Scripture over many centuries. They will not consider the canons of Orthodox Churches or others because they vary in different regions of the world. So is European Christianity based in the Vatican City right about all its holy scriptures while everyone elses church scriptures are false scriptures? Ethiopia it seems got most books of scripture right even with their translation into an ancient language!
Download or read book The Lost Book of Enoch written by David Humphreys and published by Janus Publishing Company Lim. This book was released on 2004 with total page 494 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Though widely read by early Christians, the book of Enoch was banned by the church in the fourth century and considered lost for 1,600 years. A mention of it in the New Testament led 19th-century scholars to a manuscript of the Enoch story in Hebrew and Aramaic verse, and a theological study of the manuscript in English followed in 1912. Yet it too eventually disappeared from public view. This edition of the lost biblical book is re-written in contemporary English and recounts the apocalyptic vision revealed to Enoch, the father of Methuselah, when he was taken to heaven by archangels who showed him the future of mankind as he looked down upon the world.
Download or read book The real book of ENOQUE translated from the Ethiopian original written by Carlos Miranda and published by Carlos Miranda . This book was released on 2024-08-13 with total page 187 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Enoch is a biblical character mentioned in the Old Testament, more specifically in the Book of Genesis. He is described as the great-grandson of Noah and is mentioned in the genealogy of Genesis 5, which lists the descendants of Adao. The relevant passage is Genesis 5:21-24 (NIV): "Enoch lived sixty-five years and begat Methuselah. After begetting Methuselah, Enoch lived three hundred years and begot sons and daughters. All Enoch's days were three hundred and sixty-five years. Enoch walked with God and disappeared, because God took him."The narrative highlights Enoch as someone who "walked with God" and, unlike the other characters listed in the genealogy, Enoch did not die, but was "taken by God." This brevity in the description of Enoch in the Bible has led to diverse interpretations and speculation in various religious translations. In addition to the biblical account, Enoch is also associated with the so-called "Book of Enoch" or "1 Enoch", an ancient apocryphal text attributed to him. This book contains visions, parables and revelations attributed to Enoch and has been of historical and religious interest, although it is not accepted as canonical by most Jewish and Christian translations. The Book of Enoch is made up of several parts, the best known being the "Book of the Watchers," which describes the interaction between fallen angels and humans.

Book excerpt: The words of the blessing of Enoch, wherewith he blessed the elect and righteous, who will be living in the day of tribulation, when all the wicked and godless are to be removed. And he took up his parable and said -Enoch a righteous man, whose eyes were opened by God, saw the vision of the Holy One in the heavens, which the angels showed me, and from them I heard everything, and from them I understood as I saw, but not for this generation, but for a remote one which is for to come. Concerning the elect I said, and took up my parable concerning them: The Holy Great One will come forth from His dwelling, And the eternal God will tread upon the earth, (even) on Mount Sinai, [And appear from His camp] And appear in the strength of His might from the heaven of heavens. And all shall be smitten with fear And the Watchers shall quake, And great fear and trembling shall seize them unto the ends of the earth. And the high mountains shall be shaken, And the high hills shall be made low, And shall melt like wax before the flame And the earth shall be wholly rent in sunder, And all that is upon the earth shall perish, And there shall be a judgement upon all (men). But with the righteous He will make peace. And will protect the elect, And mercy shall be upon them. And they shall all belong to God, And they shall be prospered, And they shall all be blessed. And He will help them all, And light shall appear unto them, And He will make peace with them'. And behold! He cometh with ten thousands of His holy ones To execute judgement upon all, And to destroy all the ungodly: And to convict all flesh Of all the works of their ungodliness which they have ungodly committed, And of all the hard things which ungodly sinners have spoken against Him.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The planters from long ago planted people on planets throughout the universes. This story explodes on the planet Lamenta as it develops. Things go wrong, as a string of evil queens push the power of women too far, stripping everything from the useless males they keep only for procreation, and harvesting their needed prey. This evil had to be stopped. Out of this evil empire did come one of their future royal whites to organize and build armies from the savages that the Hersonian Empire were harvesting. The planet then became a sponge holding rivers of blood. After the ashes started to settle, the evil queen emerges out of the unknown to destroy the queen of love and great purity. This sends the king on a giant exploration adventure covering the planet. On this trip, he finds a new love and gives Mempire a new queen. Evil refuses to give up on Lamenta as the future queen of evil; Lilith, almost makes all life on Lamenta extinct. Space dog gives King James the ability to fight this evil and with time, life begins to reproduce again. Yet during his travels, Lilith captures his seed to create his child to have as a tool to cripple Mempire. The spirits of the heavens intervene as they allow Mempires dead queen to reach her hand out and save this child, hiding her spirit in a new child. Mempire continues to provide its citizens an environment to build their new families. Yet, dangers continue as their queen from the grave warns as Mempire continues to battle evil. King James and his royal whites lay a solid foundation for an empire that would grow into one of the greatest in the Milky Way as many of the stars in your sky belong to this great power of good.
