She graduated with honors with a BS in Education. She pursued graduate studies at Florida State University in art education. She has exhibited in student galleries and subsequently injuried shows with the Oakland, CA Art Association. She has loved drawing ever since early childhood, has painted in oil and acrylic when time permitted, and recently discovered the joy and freshness of painting in watercolor.
