Book Poems and Writings from a Broken Heart and a Romantic Mind

Download or read book Poems and Writings from a Broken Heart and a Romantic Mind written by Jack Lambert and published by AuthorHouse. This book was released on 2021-03-29 with total page 120 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book was to help me move on from the death of my wife. We had been together for 50 years. It is written in a simple language, not in a sophisticated way where it all rhymes and makes perfect poetry. It was written from a broken heart and also from some dark times in my life after she died. The last section is just thoughts that I had jotted down while I was going through this. For those that are going through the grieving that happens when you lose a spouse, I sincerely hope that you will find some comfort in what you read and know that I truly feel your pain. They say time heals all, don’t believe it. It hasn’t for me.

This book was released on 2015-01-16 with total page 169 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book of poems is about heartbreak, the heartbreak of being in love with someone whose love was just out of reach. It made no difference if we were on opposite sides of the earth or sitting across from each other at a candlelit table; her love was always just out of reach. You ask yourself why he would torture himself in such a way. My answer would be, if you knew her like I did, that question would never even enter your mind. Add to the mix that she never knew how much I loved her and there you have a recipe for a poetry book of brokenhearted poems.

Book Poetry of the Heart and Mind

Download or read book Poetry of the Heart and Mind written by C.C. Matthews and published by Fulton Books, Inc.. This book was released on 2021-06-10 with total page 30 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Poetry of the Heart and Mind is not simply just about loss, love, and pain. It's much more than that. The author wanted to convey simple words to bring out the deepest emotions many people choose not to show either because they think it's a sign of weakness or not manly. It was a way for the author to his head straight from life. The author chose to share his thoughts with the world to help those who think there is no one to help them. Knowing everyone has different ways of dealing with life's crazy turns, just remember to always look on the brighter side of things and push forward. Know when one takes a chance to experience new things because they simply never know where it can lead you. Life is too short to dwell on what was. Focus on what one can take from their past to create a brighter future. Writing is very therapeutic for the heart, mind, and soul. As you read this book, you will experience love, passion, anguish, self-doubt, compassion, and eventually hope. There is help everywhere. Talk to a close friend or family member, write, sing, play an instrument, and find what works. Don't waste time because it is short and valuable. Cherish every moment because life will always throw a curveball! The author's hope is that after the reader finishes reading this book, they'll understand that even though people have different circumstances, they all still have basic and fundamental commonality, and that's being human. 2

Book Poetic Thoughts from a Broken Heart

Download or read book Poetic Thoughts from a Broken Heart written by K. Krishna Kumar and published by CreateSpace. This book was released on 2013-09 with total page 296 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Internationally acclaimed author of "Living Inside Your Eyes" and "In Love: Once and Forever." These are the poems of inspiration and heart break that Krishna began to pen at the early age of 17. A truly mature heart and soul for such a young physical age. This compilation of almost 300 poems represents three years of his dedicated writing. His passion for writing poems, primarily about love, which is his inspiration and well-spring of creativity. These are all original works from his heart and soul. They may contain a few mistakes and probably don't follow proper poetry guidelines, however, he made sure not to pen a poem that wasn't one which captivated his heart as it entered his mind before manifesting to paper. I wouldn't say all these poems are literary classics, but I could assure you that each one is unique and has a good-ending. So sit back and enjoy the journey.

Download or read book Therapy for a broken heart written by Christian D. Maddison and published by Outskirts Press. This book was released on 2021-10-08 with total page 108 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Writing "Therapy" was just that, a release of people, things, negative thoughts, bad habits, etc. I was in a relationship, or so I thought, and it was becoming so strenuous on my well-being that it had to end. I was depressed, and no one knew; I was moody, to say the least. I had brain strain, and I had to do something to change my life, or I would spiral and dwindle into nothingness. During that process, I was in therapy and began applying what I was learning to all aspects of my life. I began to pray more and think positively about myself and my surroundings. Once I let go of all the "bad juju," someone new entered my life and showed me what I was missing, wanting, and needing in my life. I know some people won't understand or like the fact I added God in a lot of the book. Still, if you read and comprehend the text, you'll realize that it's a transformation of me returning to the compassionate and loving person I once was and now continue to be.

Book 100 Poems to Heal a Broken Heart

Download or read book 100 Poems to Heal a Broken Heart written by Richard Rucker and published by Xlibris Corporation. This book was released on 2013-06-25 with total page 186 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The poems that became this book were written to ease the mind of my wife, Cindy. She had just been operated on for pancreatic cancer. A close friend of ours had just died from the same disease, and it was not pretty. At this time we had been married for thirty-six years. Cindy still had a lot of residual pain from the surgery, and was very afraid to die. I wrote her a love poem, and that made her feel better. Soon, I was writing more. I wrote poems that were loving, silly, or funny, anything to make her happier. Almost exactly a year later, I was in a motorcycle accident. It left me with a broken back, and eight ribs broken. I was in a cast which left me lying on my back for over four months. I became pretty good at writing on a notebook computer, with it resting on my cast, and up against my legs. Now we both had pain, and the poems brought us even closer. Other than the time that my family doctor told me that I had cancer (which turned out to not be true), things went along fine for about eight months. Cindys doctor had his assistant call her to say that her most recent test results were back from the lab. Without any preamble or emotion, she told Cindy that her cancer was back, and there was nothing that could be done! Cindy looked as if she had been shot. Now I really had to write some words that would help her on her last journey. I wrote to tell her how much I loved her, and how much she would be missed. The disease was consuming her body by this time, and she was becoming very weak. She continued on this downhill slide for approximately three months, until she finally required in-home hospice care. Her condition deteriorated considerably, but she still loved it when I read her my latest poetry. She started sleeping more and more, as she was having her pain managed with morphine. Our thirty-eighth wedding anniversary was August 20, and she managed to hang on until then. The next day, she slipped into a coma, and died four days later. I was beyond devastated. Cindy had asked me to get married again, even enlisting the help of her many girlfriends to find me a suitable mate. Before her death, that was a funny story. Immediately afterward, it was unthinkable! My whole world fell apart with her death. Cindy used to be the brightest spot in my life, my beacon, without her I was lost. I asked around, trying to find a grief counseling group, and found a grief sharing group run by a church. It totally worked! The people there all shared their grief with me, and I returned home feeling ten times worse. Many of these folks had lost a loved one from five to ten years before, but still cried at the mention of the departed person. I didnt wish to be like them, so I decided to take action. I started in again on writing poetry, this time for me. It had worked with our pain, perhaps it would help with my suffering. The first ones were rather dark, about loss and being alone. Gradually, they took a turn. They began to be about how happy I had been. Soon my poems were about being happy again. Quite a few of them were even whimsical; they had dragged me back from the brink of despair. Instead of just being happy, I wanted to be in love again. Cindy was right; I would not do well alone. There were several ways for people to meet, but most of them wouldnt work for me. I had seen ad for an online dating site, and decided to give it a try. There was a questionnaire which contained dozens of questions that were specially formulated to find matches for people, based on similar views of important subjects. I filled it out, and hoped for the best. I received several matches, and I started dating at a furious pace. It was crazy, I was going on eleven dates a week (one each weekday evening, three each, Saturday, and Sunday). It was tiring. Although I was going on so many dates, I was getting more matches than I could handle. I didnt know what to do! I became more selective in my judging of the respondents answers, and of their p

Book Poems of Love and Pain

Download or read book Poems of Love and Pain written by Vincent Dizeo and published by Strategic Book Publishing & Rights Agency. This book was released on 2017-07-24 with total page 222 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Poems of Love and Pain is meant to show that people aren’t alone in this world and that others have the same feelings that they do. This collection of poems and letters were sent to ladies I have loved though the years. It includes my feelings, hopes, dreams, love, and my pain. My heart and soul are trapped between these lines, showing my raw emotions and letting the ink flow to express myself the only way I can. I was born July 19, 1976 in Brooklyn, New York. I have two sisters and loving parents, but I’ve had a hard time dealing with love and the pain it can bring. I’m very romantic and my feelings get hurt easily. I love big and get hurt big. I’m the type who will love a woman endlessly and forever. I began writing at age 16 and never stopped. Moments get captured in my mind like a camera, creating snapshots of my memories to never let them go. I hold a lot in, but write everything down, as it’s the only way I know to express my feelings.
