Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The shocking truth about where the markets are headed and why owning physical gold—not paper assets—is a far better strategy to building real wealth. An indispensable resource for the everyday investor, Gold Is A Better Way turns the strategies recommended by Wall Street on their head and makes the case for a return to sound investing. Adam Baratta strips away all the confusion and complexities surrounding investing and breaks down investment concepts and the simple fundamentals driving markets. He provides a roadmap for how to win at the game of investing and, more importantly, explains the “why” so readers can continue to win. Everyday investors gain tools that allow them to know with certainty they are making sound investment decisions, as well as an understanding of where to diversify investments that have historically performed well. There is a massive environmental shift happening in financial markets. Interest rates are rising and what has been very easy for investors in the past is about to become very hard. Everything people think they know about investing is being turned on its head. It's time to change investing behavior. “A fresh new voice in the world of gold . . . Baratta’s book and cutting edge platform make the undeniable case why gold demands consideration in every portfolio.” —ZeroHedge

Book The Nine Pillars of History

Download or read book The Nine Pillars of History written by Gunnar Sevelius and published by AuthorHouse. This book was released on 2016-05-21 with total page 424 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Human society, as we know it, goes back some 200,000 years to a time when we learned to speak and communicate our thoughts. The Nine Pillars of History are defined from nine basic requirements for a healthy and prosperous society during the following 190,000 years of Hunting and Gathering. Sexuality, a fundamental human need that goes even further back in history than society, had to be mitigated with a social rule: The Golden Rule. The Nine Pillars of History are used as non-political common denominators to judge the political evolution of some thirty major countries or cultures. In addition, the Pillars are partnered with the Golden Rule to explore five world religions, Hinduism, Buddhism, Judaism, Christianity and Islam. The relevance of The Nine Pillars of History is proven by the fact that they exist intergraded across multiple societies since the dawn of time and are still relevant for our modern world. This historical review reveals that dogmatic religions and harsh politics have caused 10,000 years of war by challenging the relevance of The Nine Pillars of History. Dr. Sevelius gives his views as nonpolitical, nonreligious thoughts. Each paragraph has been numbered to offer an easy to use reference system for community discussion of specific statements. The Nine Pillars of History gives you, Dear Friend and Reader, a vision for peace. As Dr. Sevelius respectfully borrows President Lincolns enduring truth, that governments of the people, by the people and for the people shall not perish from the earth.

Book Seven Pillars

Download or read book Seven Pillars written by Michael Rubin and published by AEI Press. This book was released on 2019-11-14 with total page 178 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: For decades, US foreign policy in the Middle East has been on autopilot: Seek Arab-Israeli peace, fight terrorism, and urge regimes to respect human rights. Every US administration puts its own spin on these initiatives, but none has successfully resolved the region’s fundamental problems. In Seven Pillars: What Really Causes Instability in the Middle East? a bipartisan group of leading experts representing several academic and policy disciplines unravel the core causes of instability in the Middle East and North Africa. Why have some countries been immune to the Arab Spring? Which governments enjoy the most legitimacy and why? With more than half the region under 30 years of age, why does education and innovation lag? How do resource economies, crony capitalism, and inequality drive conflict? Are ethnic and sectarian fault lines the key factor, or are these more products of political and economic instability? And what are the wellsprings of extremism that threaten not only the United States but, more profoundly, the people of the region? The answers to these questions should help policymakers and students of the region understand the Middle East on its own terms, rather than just through a partisan or diplomatic lens. Understanding the pillars of instability in the region can allow the United States and its allies to rethink their own priorities, adjust policy, recalibrate their programs, and finally begin to chip away at core challenges facing the Middle East. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The fifth and most popular book of the Ramayana of Valmiki, the Sundarakanda, recounts the adventures of the monkey hero Hanuman in leaping across the ocean to the island citadel of Lanka. Once there, he scours the city for the abducted Princess Siti. The poet vividly describes the opulence of the court of the demon king, Ravana, the beauty of his harem, and the hideous deformity of Sita's wardresses. After witnessing Sita's stern rejection of Ravana's blandishments, Hanuman reveals himself to the princess and restores her hope of rescue. The great monkey then wreaks havoc on the royal park and fights a series of hair-raising battles with Ravana's generals. Permitting himself to be captured by the warrior Indrajit, Hanuman is led into the presence of Ravana, whom he admonishes for his lechery. His tail is set ablaze, but he escapes his bonds and leaping from rooftop to rooftop, sets fire to the city. Taking leave of Sita, Hanuman once more leaps the ocean to rejoin his monkey companions. This is the fifth volume translated from the critical edition of the Valmiki Ramayana. It contains an extensive introduction, exhaustive notes, and a comprehensive bibliography.
