Contrary to the belief of the mainstream women s movement, the liberation of the women is not a uniform or undifferentiated domain. The contributors analyse the very real problems faced by Dalit women in different spheres. This study presents a new approach and theoretical perspective for the study of all India social reality of crucial issues concerning Dalit women.
