She being an introvert hardly shares her feelings and thoughts with others and pens them down. She also wants to encourage others to pen down their inner feelings which they’ve never shared with anyone. She wants to motivate the readers that feelings can be expressed through writing too even when you have none to share your pain or joy. She believes that trying is never a bad thing and that anyone who tries is never a failure. Despite several difficulties in her writing experiences, she believes everyone faces the same at different levels. She advises every reader to take it lightly, keep hurdles aside and move on. Writings are emotions and readers are motion to react to emotion. Her book “Penned down thoughts” counts all the lines for herself and you, the reader.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Penning down my thoughts... is a collection of thoughts that gives a perspective to the many lessons that life has to offer. Each of the poem in this collection has been inspired from real life experiences and the writer introspects and reflects on these situations through his imagination. Be it "God's Test" where we start believing everything happens for a reason or the beauty of love and separation eloquently described in "The Romance", each poem has a life of its own. The pain and thoughts a soldier has to brave through is so sentimentally woven into "Soldiers Life" whereas the enchanting beauty of Kashmir and Kerala described through "A Paradise called Kashmir" and "God's own Kingdom" makes you feel like actually living in that moment. The feelings of a lover hopelessly in love comes out through "I waited for you" and many more such poems which evoke a mix of love, emotions, hope, acceptance and expectation.

Book The Ladies Repository

Download or read book The Ladies Repository written by and published by . This book was released on 1862 with total page 826 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The idea of this women's magazine originated with Samuel Williams, a Cincinnati Methodist, who thought that Christian women needed a magazine less worldly than Godey's Lady's Book and Snowden's Lady's Companion. Written largely by ministers, this exceptionally well-printed little magazine contained well-written essays of a moral character, plenty of poetry, articles on historical and scientific matters, and book reviews. Among western writers were Alice Cary, who contributed over a hundred sketches and poems, her sister Phoebe Cary, Otway Curry, Moncure D. Conway, and Joshua R. Giddings; and New England contributors included Mrs. Lydia Sigourney, Hannah F. Gould, and Julia C.R Dorr. By 1851, each issue published a peice of music and two steel plates, usually landscapes or portraits. When Davis E. Clark took over the editorship in 1853, the magazine became brighter and attained a circulation of 40,000. Unlike his predecessors, Clark included fictional pieces and made the Repository a magazine for the whole family. After the war it began to decline and in 1876 was replaced by the National Repository. The Ladies' Repository was an excellent representative of the Methodist mind and heart. Its essays, sketches, and poems, its good steel engravings, and its moral tone gave it a charm all its own. -- Cf. American periodicals, 1741-1900.

Book The Watchdog and Other Stories

Download or read book The Watchdog and Other Stories written by Ashish Khetarpal and published by Notion Press. This book was released on 2019-07-09 with total page 168 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This rare constellation of varied literary themes both troubles and surprises the reader with its intruding narrative and its vast swathe of picturesque fabric. Swinging between the natural and the supernatural, its characters are not easy to judge since most of them bear the same name of Kabir. By not forcing new names with each subsequent story, the reader is forced to see the same character in his different lives and avatars – so that he may not judge one without sympathizing with the other, and may not condemn one without lauding the other. In The Watchdog, Kabir is a coarse ‘one-legged faint-hearted villain’ during the times of the Raj, who despises the order of the world, whereas, in The Prophecy, he’s forced to listen to a chiromancer as he interprets the hidden meanings in the lines of his palm; The Wall Phone and the Stack of Letters is a Sufi love story over a telephone; and, in the French city of Chandigarh, [a] Blind Man…sells cigarettes; there is Little Kabir, who is a thief and also a bibliophile; and there are others. Who will you judge, laud or condemn when it can very well be the same person?

Book Science Proves That God Exists

Download or read book Science Proves That God Exists written by William Schonfelder and published by Christian Faith Publishing, Inc.. This book was released on 2022-11-03 with total page 296 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: When I was in school back in the aEUR(tm)60s, I was taught many things that I believed were factual and honest in truth and knowledge. As an example, that we came from monkeys and that the cavemen came from fish that walked on the land. My science teacher taught us that all things happened from a single Big Bang theory. I believed in these things that were taught to me so much as to defend them without any real information behind it other than what I was taught or shown. I even did this with my faith and religion because someone else who was more spiritual or educated than myself taught it that way. I just believed what they taught in the pulpit and on the radio. Then something happened to me that showed me that everything I believed was a lack of the aEURoerightaEUR interpretation of what the current information was trying to show me. That example is explained in this book using a closed- or open-universe theory based on the instruments of the time. When you read this book you will see what I am speaking about. The information has meaning and purpose. Information is what gets you up, creates your beliefs, and inspires you to a purpose. Information can be misused as an example in the world wars and in todayaEUR(tm)s example of fake news. Certain people choose not to accept the truth they hear unless they had concrete evidence about the information only coming from the source. It is those people who seek the source that the information comes from that is rewarded with the intention that the information intended in the first place.I chose the title because of a download that came from the sourceaEUR"GodaEUR"answering all of my questions in one night, wide awake, and without my knowledge of it, except my loving wife, who witnessed this download. I have learned that when I go to the source, aEURoepurpose is defined, that created me. We must all find what that truth is and not just accept it because it was told to you that way from generations that one day decided this is how it isaEUR (quote from the book Science Proves That God Exists).
