"Peace Through The Storm" The waves of the world o'erflow us sometimes, But with the Lord's help, we'll sail in sunshine. The boat is our soul adrift on life's sea, Till we hoist our sails and make our doubts flee. The sail is our faith which catches the wind, The Holy Spirit's the wind that frees us from sin. When the tempest's high, we doubt God until, We hear Jesus say to the storm, "Peace! Be still!" Then as we sail on the smooth, sparkling sea, We're thankful He died for you and for me. And though we'll always have storms, this is true, Jesus says, "I am with you and I'll see you through!"

God Almighty is always there for you. Have you been going through a bad marriage? Have you been divorced? Do you want to end your life from all the misery from within and without? Oh, my little ones, God is not even a breath away. He is there for you. Are you the one God is calling out to? God is the god of peace and love. He is waiting for you to call out the name of Jesus for his gentle touch of salvation. He wants to free you from death, hell, and the grave. Are you the one who has run away from Jesus and his loving hands of forgiveness? Come back to him. He did not leave you. You are mad at him, but he is not mad at you. Are you the one who has lost your little child, wife, husband, brother, or sister? God Almighty, the creator of your very being, is there for you—always loving, always caring, always blessing. I have your answer, my friend. His name is Jesus Christ, the son of the living God. He is alpha and omega, our beginning, and with his presence, there will never be an end. Let me share with you my personal collection of psalms, poems, and thoughts, which God has given to me throughout the years. It is my heartfelt prayer that if you can relate to any of these life issues, you are the one this book was written for to give you peace in the midst of the storms of life. —J. Michael Vessels

Be it movies, music, sports, liquor, drugs, or whatever can keep them motivated, they seek after diverse pleasures to keep them content. But in the end, they find themselves unfulfilled. Still longing for something more. Then there are those who find fulfillment. Those who come out of the world and put their faith in God. They allow Him to lead and guide their lives. These have hope and are fulfilled. They find peace. Calvin W. Allison, the author of "Joan" and "A Sunset Rising," used to seek after those things of the world and knows all too well where that broken road leads. Now, a Christian, he seeks after the things of God. Closely following the Lord's lead. "A Peace in the Spirit" is his second volume of Christian poetry. His poems are written with strong conviction and purpose.

Book Peace in the Midst of the Storm

Download or read book Peace in the Midst of the Storm written by Pastor Jimmie Duran and published by Xulon Press. This book was released on 2009-12 with total page 200 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: We live in a society filled with broken people. Over the years the church has had to make a fundamental decision regarding those of us who have faced such trying times. This book, although speaks about divorce, death, financial difficulties, is a book about how someone like me faced one of the most difficult times in my life. This book is not about how unfaithful we are, but rather, how faithful God is. Through some of our darkest times-those caused by our own choices and those allowed by God, we see just how faithful God is. If you are struggling to find answers, if you are struggling to find solutions, this book is written for you. It demonstrates through the Word of God that we could find peace in some of life's most dangerous storms. The storm of death, the storm of divorce, the storm of financial ruin are nothing compared to God's ability to take our broken world and heal it. All too often the church has failed to minister to those of us who are broken, to those of us who have baggage, and to those of us who need deep spiritual, emotional, and psychological healing. This book chronicles my marriage that fell a part when my then wife lost a pregnancy. Watching my marriage fall a part and incapable of fixing it, I journeyed on a 40 day fast. This book is the result of the insight God gave me concerning my hardship. I invite you to take this journey with me and hopefully along the way you discover what I did so many years ago. The very fact that God is faithful and that no matter what you are facing God is on your side.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: "And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm" (Mark 4 KJV). Life is like a stormy sea that often deprives us of our peace. When the waves of adversity attempt to sink us into despair, Jesus comes offering us His words "Peace, be still." "Peace on Stormy Seas offers words of encouragement and hope, bringing tranquility and calmness during the storms of life. In her quest for spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ, Linda Stevenson pulled from her own struggles and victories to pen words of strength, hope and deliverance. Her God-inspired poetry is interspersed with gentle, inspirational words that wrap around one's heart and explode in powerful messages of healing, hope and peace through our storms in life. Often in times of deep struggle, I've read a poem written by Linda Stevenson that is so focused in truth and compassion, I've risen from my knees praising God for the message shouted from the pages of her poetry. "Whatever your need, whatever your pain, whatever your victory, this book of poetry will speak to your heart in a way that will uplift, restore, and revive. As you read the poems in this collection, you will experience a deep warmth and overwhelming awareness of the presence of God. It is this incredible sense of celebration and praise that will capture your heart each time you read the inspirational poetry in Peace on Stormy Seas." - Twila Briscoe, Proprietor and Ordained Christian Minister.

Book Peace in the Midst of the Storm

Download or read book Peace in the Midst of the Storm written by Kaleb Thompson and published by Resource Publications (CA). This book was released on 2021-12-03 with total page 0 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: New York Best Sellers Award Winner Anxiety and fear seek to prey on the damaged and create heavy burdens that scar the soul, being heartless and insensitive to the lost, unkempt, and broken-spirited in a troubled, unwholesome world. However, they do not reign for eternity, as faith, resilience, and empowerment remain planted from within to help overcome pressing obstacles, regardless of how difficult they may be. Peace in the Midst of the Storm primarily focuses on the beauty of positivity, selflessness, and honorable confidence that symbolizes the importance of light being present within darkness. This book also holds accountability in facing the realization that as life may prove frustrating at times, giving up is never an option! This shows that regardless of our mistakes, life does not promise us that we will remain positioned in negativity. What we were in our pasts will not seep into who we have grown to be as positive individuals. What we have now realized is that we often must prepare to speak victory over our storms and, as we continue to encourage ourselves to do that, we will overcome anything.
