L'approche compétence vise à identifier, à mobiliser compétences stratégiques, à les reconnaître et à en favoriser le développement. Dans cette logique, la formation professionnelle continue occupe une place centrale et s'intègre dans un ensemble large et diversifié de production des compétences. L'analyse du statut et des pratiques de formation dans les organisations afin de développer les compétences nécessaires, est l'objet de cette thèse sans oublier la responsabilité publique dans ce processus. Ainsi, notre étude de systèmes de formation professionnelle et des pratiques de formation professionnelle continue concerne le Maroc et la France. Elle apporte une contribution empirique au débat sur l'implication des entreprises dans la formation continue au Maroc et dégage quelques perspectives en termes de développement de celle-ci dans ce pays.
