Book excerpt: Saving Pakistan from Economic collapse, Terrorism, and Lawlessness? In this book the author shows easy to implement solutions to the following issues and more; How to defeat terrorists with least effort and loss of lives? How to reduce serious crimes quickly in a few months using Monetary Policy? How to reduce back breaking Inflation by a single change in Fractional Reserve Requirement? How to pay off IMF and other debts quickly and grow Pakistani Economy? How to resolve Kashmir Issue? How to make Pakistan a richest country in the world? This book answers all of the above questions and more, in detail. This book was written by an ordinary Pakistani citizen who has a deep understanding of the problems and issues of ordinary Pakistanis. For example, in Pakistan people are afraid of terrorists, criminals, and police brutality. Their lives, honour, and liberty are not safe, and the state does not do anything to protect them. Uncontrolled Inflation and IMF's plans have pushed many people into poverty and now more than 60% of people are living below Poverty Line. This means that they do not have enough money to buy even the food for their families. Many young people do not have jobs, so some of them are turning to crimes. Ordinary Pakistani does not get justice from the courts because thousands of cases are still pending after decades. Bribery and corruption is rife in Pakistan and almost every Pakistani has to pay bribes even for legitimate things. In the current Pakistan, the rights of the Strong are protected, and the Weak has to suffer what he must! The author, Meem Zaal Jeem, being a Pakistani citizen who understands the pains of his fellow countrymen, decided to find solutions to these problems and issue. So he searched for these solutions in the ancient and modern histories. How they were able to resolve similar issues? He applied the knowledge of Economics, Politics, Law, Anthropology, Psychology, Philosophy, Religions, Military Strategy & Wars, and many other disciplines to design easy to implement solutions and gathered them all into one book, which he called 'Solution Pakistan'. What is in this book? You can read about first 30 pages of this book by clicking 'Look inside'. This book is divided in to five chapters. The author believes that the economy of Pakistan is pivotal on which everything else depends, so he devoted more than half of the book to economy and how it could be improved and grown to help people. In the first three chapters on economy you will find many answers you have been looking for, so don't skip these chapters because you may think that the economics is boring. Fortunately, the author has made these chapters interesting with many real life examples, and how these economic policies and ideas affect our lives. The fourth chapter discusses how to improve Law & order, while the fifth chapter has been devoted to other important issues which were not part of this book, but they were urgent and important. So they are included here with some brief discussions. How to read this book? You will gain much more enjoyment and understanding if you read this book from beginning to end, because the author builds up a story and the later chapters may have references to earlier chapters. You can however read different sections independently and still gain full understanding of the topic under discussion."

Book I Am Malala

Download or read book I Am Malala written by Malala Yousafzai and published by Little, Brown. This book was released on 2013-10-08 with total page 366 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: A MEMOIR BY THE YOUNGEST RECIPIENT OF THE NOBEL PEACE PRIZE As seen on Netflix with David Letterman "I come from a country that was created at midnight. When I almost died it was just after midday." When the Taliban took control of the Swat Valley in Pakistan, one girl spoke out. Malala Yousafzai refused to be silenced and fought for her right to an education. On Tuesday, October 9, 2012, when she was fifteen, she almost paid the ultimate price. She was shot in the head at point-blank range while riding the bus home from school, and few expected her to survive. Instead, Malala's miraculous recovery has taken her on an extraordinary journey from a remote valley in northern Pakistan to the halls of the United Nations in New York. At sixteen, she became a global symbol of peaceful protest and the youngest nominee ever for the Nobel Peace Prize. I AM MALALA is the remarkable tale of a family uprooted by global terrorism, of the fight for girls' education, of a father who, himself a school owner, championed and encouraged his daughter to write and attend school, and of brave parents who have a fierce love for their daughter in a society that prizes sons. I AM MALALA will make you believe in the power of one person's voice to inspire change in the world.

Download or read book Making Sense of Pakistan written by Farzana Shaikh and published by Oxford University Press. This book was released on 2018-11-08 with total page 295 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Pakistan's transformation from supposed model of Muslim enlightenment to a state now threatened by an Islamist takeover has been remarkable. Many account for the change by pointing to Pakistan's controversial partnership with the United States since 9/11; others see it as a consequence of Pakistan's long history of authoritarian rule, which has marginalized liberal opinion and allowed the rise of a religious right. Farzana Shaikh argues the country's decline is rooted primarily in uncertainty about the meaning of Pakistan and the significance of 'being Pakistani'. This has pre-empted a consensus on the role of Islam in the public sphere and encouraged the spread of political Islam. It has also widened the gap between personal piety and public morality, corrupting the country's economic foundations and tearing apart its social fabric. More ominously still, it has given rise to a new and dangerous symbiosis between the country's powerful armed forces and Muslim extremists. Shaikh demonstrates how the ideology that constrained Indo-Muslim politics in the years leading to Partition in 1947 has left its mark, skillfully deploying insights from history to better understand Pakistan's troubled present.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Containing thirteen chapters by Indian and European scholars and practitioners, this volume critically examines the multifarious domestic and external challenges that Pakistan confronts today. It discusses the vicissitudes of the European Union’s relations with Pakistan and the cultural, economic, political and military relations of Central Europe and key European countries—France, Germany and the United Kingdom—with Pakistan. The study highlights the different approaches of India and the European Union towards the Kashmir dispute and the considerations, concerns and policy of the EU towards democracy promotion in Pakistan. It also seeks to answer the question whether the relationship between the North Atlantic Treaty Organization and Pakistan is a transactional relationship or an enduring partnership. The book analyses the problems faced by Pakistan’s oil and gas sector and the challenges and opportunities for European companies to expand Pakistan’s energy basket. The volume examines the nature, dynamics and challenges of social integration and political participation by the Pakistani diaspora in the United Kingdom. It also explores the political context that shapes both policy and discourse on immigrant integration with special reference to the Pakistani diaspora’s lived experience in three Scandinavian countries. The study will be of interest to all those engaged in the fields of political science, international relations, European politics and foreign policy and Indian and South Asian politics and foreign policy.
