Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Discover best practices to create simple, robust, and scalable software solutions quickly and securely, and focus on what's important - the business and the end customer Key FeaturesDiscover strategies and tips for low-code and no-code development with the help of useful examples in this full-color guideBuild enterprise-scale reactive web and mobile applicationsExplore the benefits of low-code developmentBook Description OutSystems is a software development platform that speeds up the build phase by abstracting code and making almost everything visual. This means replacing textual language with visual artifacts that avoid lexical errors and speed up code composition using accelerators and predefined templates. The book begins by walking you through the fundamentals of the technology, along with a general overview of end-to-end web and mobile software development. You'll learn how to configure your personal area in the cloud and use the OutSystems IDE to connect with it. The book then shows you how to build a web application based on the best architectural and developmental practices in the market, and takes the same approach for the mobile paradigm. As you advance, you'll find out how to develop the same application, and the great potential of reusing code from one paradigm in another and the symbiosis between them is showcased. The only application that'll differ from the application in the exercise is the one used in business process technology (BPT), with a focus on a common market use case. By the end of this OutSystems book, you'll be able to develop enterprise-level applications on the web and mobile, integrating them with third parties and other systems on the market. You'll also understand the concepts of performance, security, and software construction and be able to apply them effectively. Book Development of a Fully Integrated Sample In Answer Out System for Automatic Genetic Analysis

Download or read book Development of a Fully Integrated Sample In Answer Out System for Automatic Genetic Analysis written by Bin Zhuang and published by Springer. This book was released on 2017-07-20 with total page 131 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This thesis reports on the development of a fully integrated and automated microsystem consisting of low-cost, disposable plastic chips for DNA extraction and PCR amplification, combined with a reusable glass capillary array electrophoresis chip, which can be employed in a modular-based format for genetic analysis. In the thesis, DNA extraction is performed by adopting a filter paper-based method, followed by an “in-situ” PCR carried out directly in the same reaction chamber of the chip without elution. PCR products are then co-injected with sizing standards into separation channels for detection using a novel injection electrode. The entire process is automatically carried out by a custom-made compact control and detection instrument. The author thoroughly tests the system’s performance and reliability by conducting rapid genetic screening of mutations on congenital hearing loss and pharmacogenetic typing of multiple warfarin-related single-nucleotide polymorphisms. The successful development and operation of this microsystem establishes the feasibility of rapid “sample-in-answer-out” testing in routine clinical practice.

Book Institutional Change And Rural Industrialization In China The Putting out System In Handicraft Industry In Late Qing And Early Republic Period

Download or read book Institutional Change And Rural Industrialization In China The Putting out System In Handicraft Industry In Late Qing And Early Republic Period written by Feizhou Zhou and published by World Scientific Publishing. This book was released on 2018-11-16 with total page 163 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book explores the development of the putting-out system in hand-woven textile industries in late Qing Dynasty and China's Republican Period. In classic sociology theory, the putting-out system in handcraft production was regarded as traditional and inefficient. In the context of Republican China, it was believed that this kind of household-based production system would have totally failed in competition with the factory system of machinery production. However, this book exhibits the historical fact that the putting-out system was booming in handcraft textile production and subsequently provides an explanation to this phenomenon from the perspectives of institutional analysis and quantitative modeling. With rich county-level data and comprehensive analysis, this book is valuable for both researchers, academics and students in economics and social history studies.

Book Structure and Changes of China s Financial System

Download or read book Structure and Changes of China s Financial System written by Jie Zhang and published by Routledge. This book was released on 2018-05-11 with total page 152 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: By virtue of several theoretical models and hypotheses, this book is one of the earliest studies which systematically investigates the structure and changes of China’s financial institutions. To begin with, it examines the relation between state utility function and China’s economic growth, and reveals the formation and transition of China’s state-owned financial institutional arrangements. Based on this analysis, the author studies the influence of monetization on the arrangements, and the financial support to China’s gradual reform which have long been neglected by researchers. Also, the model of money demand that can explain the specific conditions of the gradual reform is built, as the neoclassical framework has been incapable of explaining China’s financial performance. In the last chapter, it discusses the dilemma of property rights under the state-owned financial system, with the establishment of the credit equilibrium model and the dual model of bad debts. With insightful theoretical analysis and empirical researches, this book will appeal to scholars and students in finance, economics and economic history.
