Book America Accept the Truth Repent and Save Our Country

Download or read book America Accept the Truth Repent and Save Our Country written by Dr. Derek Lawrence-Harper and published by LifeRich Publishing. This book was released on 2023-04-23 with total page 197 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: God’s timing is not our timing, but the bible is clear that judgment will come. America will be judged for its misdeeds one day. It is the author’s hope that people will re-read the bible and encourage people to read this book to know that the author’s goal is to first save souls and second save our country. Ideally, we need to be in a financial position to help others. To resolve problems in this country we must be honest and accept the truth to move forward. Most Americans including the author need all their income to pay bills and have means to enjoy themselves. The true minority in America is the rich who do not live paycheck to paycheck but have either generational wealth or maximized their talents to become prosperous. Hopefully, anyone who became rich did not compromise their morality or abuse, misuse, or oppress others for their personal gain. If so, pray that they repent. Our country is in trouble as Compromised Christianity, Atheism, Agnosticism, and Satanic influence is on the rise while Bible Believing Christians are declining, getting older, and are dying off. It has been said that those who ignore history repeat history. Dr. Martin Luther King once stated that truth suppressed to earth shall rise again. The author is here to talk about the truth that is rising in our time now.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: American education is falling behind that of other countries, and we are continuing to battle a huge dropout rate in our country. Being without a high school diploma can lead to low-paying jobs, unemployment, government assistance and even incarceration. The effects on our country's economy are devastating. Rather than blaming our school systems, educator Lynne Klemens suggests that parents do certain things to prepare their children for education. Within the pages of this book are twenty basic reminders for parents on what should be taught at home. In order to gain a good education, a child needs parents who are doing their jobs at home and teachers doing their parts in school. Students also have a responsibility for their own learning. The ideas in this guide can help your child to become an active participant in his education. While raising successfully motivated students can be challenging, the advice given in this book is -practical -uncomplicated -inexpensive -necessary.

Book excerpt: "An exquisitely timed book ... Code Red is a worthwhile exploration of the shared goals (and shared enemies) that unite moderates and progressives. But more than that, it is a sharp reminder that the common ground on which Dionne built his career has been badly eroded, with little prospect that it will soon be restored.” —The New York Times Book Review New York Times bestselling author and Washington Post columnist E. J. Dionne, Jr. sounds the alarm in Code Red, calling for an alliance between progressives and moderates to seize the moment and restore hope to America’s future for the 2020 presidential election. Will progressives and moderates feud while America burns? Or will these natural allies take advantage of the greatest opportunity since the New Deal Era to strengthen American democracy, foster social justice, and turn back the threats of the Trump Era? The United States stands at a crossroads. Broad and principled opposition to Donald Trump’s presidency has drawn millions of previously disengaged citizens to the public square and to the ballot boxes. This inspired and growing activism for social and political change hasn’t been seen since the days of Franklin Roosevelt’s New Deal policies and the Progressive and Civil Rights movements. But if progressives and moderates are unable—and unwilling—to overcome their differences, they could not only enable Trump to prevail again but also squander an occasion for launching a new era of reform. In Code Red, award-winning journalist E. J. Dionne, Jr., calls for a shared commitment to decency and a politics focused on freedom, fairness, and the future, encouraging progressives and moderates to explore common ground and expand the unity that brought about Democrat victories in the 2018 elections. He offers a unifying model for furthering progress with a Politics of Remedy, Dignity, and More: one that solves problems, resolve disputes, and moves forward; that sits at the heart of the demands for justice by both long-marginalized and recently-displaced groups; and that posits a positive future for Americans with more covered by health insurance, more with decent wages, more with good schools, more security from gun violence, more action to roll back climate change. Breaking through the partisan noise and cutting against conventional wisdom to provide a realistic look at political possibilities, Dionne offers a strategy for progressives and moderates to think more clearly and accept the responsibilities that history now imposes on them. Because at this point in our national story, change can’t wait.

Book The Forgotten Americans

Download or read book The Forgotten Americans written by Isabel Sawhill and published by Yale University Press. This book was released on 2018-01-01 with total page 268 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: A sobering account of a disenfranchised American working class and important policy solutions to the nation's economic inequalities One of the country's leading scholars on economics and social policy, Isabel Sawhill addresses the enormous divisions in American society--economic, cultural, and political--and what might be done to bridge them. Widening inequality and the loss of jobs to trade and technology has left a significant portion of the American workforce disenfranchised and skeptical of governments and corporations alike. And yet both have a role to play in improving the country for all. Sawhill argues for a policy agenda based on mainstream values, such as family, education, and work. Although many have lost faith in government programs designed to help them, there are still trusted institutions on both the local and the federal level that can deliver better job opportunities and higher wages to those who have been left behind. At the same time, the private sector needs to reexamine how it trains and rewards employees. This book provides a clear-headed and middle-way path to a better-functioning society in which personal responsibility is honored and inclusive capitalism and more broadly shared growth are once more the norm.

Since that day, over 200 years have passed and America has become the greatest country and bastion of freedom on the earth! In the 21st Century however, that liberty and everything for which America stands is at risk. Our individual freedoms are being destroyed and taken at an alarming rate. These true principles are not just for government. They apply in every aspect of life. In order to save our nation, our neighborhoods, our families, and even ourselves, we must learn the 12 Principles of Liberty and begin to apply them in our individual lives today! Book Falling in Love with America Again

Download or read book Falling in Love with America Again written by Senator Jim DeMint and published by Center Street. This book was released on 2014-03-04 with total page 203 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Serving within the supposed pinnacles of power as a respected and influential U.S. Senator from South Carolina, Jim DeMint often felt frustrated and powerless to fight against the frightening growth of the federal bureaucracy and refute the mistaken idea that ever-bigger government is the solution to the nation's problems. In his new role as president and CEO of The Heritage Foundation, Jim DeMint has taken on the daunting responsibility of helping to lead Americans themselves to change their country's course, of redirecting us back to our founding principles and restoring and protecting our economy and culture for future generations. He realized that he - and all of us as fellow citizens - must fall in love with America - again. In this book, DeMint illustrates why Americans must rediscover the power, ingenuity and creativity of our little platoons. He then introduces Americans all across the country whose patriotism was nurtured in exactly the same way, recounting example after example of how they're working together locally in what he calls the "little platoons" - the families, churches, communities and voluntary organizations succeeding on the model that smaller is better. They are the hands-on citizens who make America the exceptional, caring and can-do country it has always been. DeMint illustrates why each of us - regardless of political party, age, race, religion or ethnicity - must rediscover the power we represent. The country's future is at risk, not just because of constant pressure from "the Bigs" (big government, big banks, big labor, big Wall Street cronies etc.), but because so many of us fear it's too late to solve problems so huge and seemingly intractable. Jim DeMint is here to reassure us that this is not true. In riveting yet plainspoken style, he tells real-life success stories and educates us via logical, historical and fact-based explanations of the issues (education, taxation, regulation, poverty, labor, health-care, environmentalism, Federalism and more). He affirms the compelling truth that conservative ideas are really American ideas, and they must guide us as we turn our institutions upside-down, taking them from the top-down centrally-controlled bureaucracies they've become back to the bottom-up democratic framework the Constitution intended. Through this heartfelt, fascinating and inspiring look inside the America of both yesterday and today, and the everyday citizens who are working tirelessly and selflessly to insure its future fulfills the promise of its beginnings, Jim DeMint is beckoning us to join him on one of the most meaningful and momentous journeys we have ever undertaken together: FALLING IN LOVE WITH AMERICA AGAIN.
