Book Di and Polynuclear Compounds 5

Download or read book Di and Polynuclear Compounds 5 written by Ulf Thewalt and published by Springer Science & Business Media. This book was released on 2013-12-11 with total page 432 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The present volume is the fifth and for the present moment last in a series of volumes on organotitanium compounds. It covers the literature to the end of 1987. The volume continues the treatment of titanium compounds with the dinuclear and polynuclear complexes. The main part of this volume deals with the dinuclear complexes and therein (+-C5H5)2TiCl 2 is the most frequently described compound. Another key compound in this volume is the presumably oligomeric +-C5H5TiCl2 n. This volume also deals with different "titanocenes" de- scribed in the literature. There are also well-defined tri- and tetranuclear compounds, one penta- and a few hexanuclear compounds. "Black titanocene" is described together with the oligonuclear compounds. Polymers containing (+-C5H5)2TiIV units conclude this volume. As in the preceding volumes of this series, compounds of debatable existence and postulated reaction intermediates are included for completeness. A Formula Index and a Ligand Formula Index for this volume are included.

Book Gmelin Os Organ Vbg Tl B closed 5

Download or read book Gmelin Os Organ Vbg Tl B closed 5 written by Kerstin Behrends and published by Springer. This book was released on 1994-11-24 with total page 389 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This volume together with volume B6 is devoted to trinuclear organoosmium compounds which have a Os3(1L)(CO)n skeleton. Both volumes give a complete and up-to-date survey of an important class of chemical compounds, citing numerous and well studied examples. The present volume B5 deals with compounds which have terminal 1L ligands such as alkyl, acyl, thiocarbonyl, isocyanide, or carbene groups as well as 1L ligands coordinated by one non-bridging Os-C bond and one or more additional E Os donor bonds (E = O, S, N, or P). The use of indices allows easy and rapid access to detailed information in volumes B5 and B6.

Book Landmarks in Organo Transition Metal Chemistry

Download or read book Landmarks in Organo Transition Metal Chemistry written by Helmut Werner and published by Springer Science & Business Media. This book was released on 2008-12-16 with total page 361 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Since the discovery of ferrocene and the sandwich-type complexes, the development of organometallic chemistry took its course like an avalanche and became one of the scientific success stories of the second half of the twentieth century. Based on this development, the traditional boundaries between inorganic and organic chemistry gradually disappeared and a rebirth of the nowadays highly important field of homogeneous catalysis occurred. It is fair to say that despite the fact that the key discovery, which sparked it all off, was made more than 50 years ago, organometallic chemistry remains a young and lively discipline.

Book Advanced Heterogeneous Catalysts Volume 1

Download or read book Advanced Heterogeneous Catalysts Volume 1 written by Sudarsanam Putla and published by ACS Symposium. This book was released on 2021-05-07 with total page 608 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Advances and applications of nanosized catalysts Over the last five years, tremendous advances have been made in heterogeneous catalysis. In particular, catalysts' design from the bulk to nano-scale (1-100 nm), with desirable active sites, has received great attention in current catalysis research with the aim to fill the gap between homogeneous and heterogeneous catalysis. This volume focuses on applications of nanosized catalysts. Articles describe characterization, synthesis, and applications in biomass conversion, auto-exhaust purification, selective oxidation/hydrogenation, syngas conversion, and other important reactions. Readers will find examples of catalysts designed to be tunable for specific outcomes, inspiring their research. Scientists and engineers in chemistry, materials science, nanotechnology, and chemical engineering will find this volume useful.
