Book M taheuristiques pour l ordonnancement multicrit re et les probl mes de transport

Download or read book M taheuristiques pour l ordonnancement multicrit re et les probl mes de transport written by JARBOUI Bassem and published by Lavoisier. This book was released on 2013-05-01 with total page 323 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.

Book Service Orientation in Holonic and Multi Agent Manufacturing

Download or read book Service Orientation in Holonic and Multi Agent Manufacturing written by Theodor Borangiu and published by Springer. This book was released on 2018-01-31 with total page 498 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book gathers the peer-reviewed papers presented at the seventh edition of the international workshop "Service Orientation in Holonic and Multi-Agent Manufacturing - SOHOMA'17", held on October 19-20, 2017 and organized by the University of Nantes, France in collaboration with the CIMR Research Centre in Computer Integrated Manufacturing and Robotics at the University Politehnica of Bucharest, Romania, the LAMIH Laboratory of Industrial and Human Automation Control, Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Valenciennes and Hainaut-Cambrésis, France and the CRAN Research Centre for Automatic Control, Nancy at the University of Lorraine, France. The main objective of SOHOMA'17 was to foster innovation in smart and sustainable manufacturing and logistics systems and in this context to promote concepts, methods and solutions addressing trends in service orientation of agent-based control technologies with distributed intelligence. The book is organized in eight parts, each with a number of chapters describing research in current domains of the digital transformation in manufacturing and trends in future service and computing oriented manufacturing control: Part 1: Advanced Manufacturing Control, Part 2: Big Data Management, Part 3: Cyber-Physical Production Systems, Part 4: Cloud- and Cyber-Physical Systems for Smart and Sustainable Manufacturing, Part 5: Simulation for Physical Internet and Intelligent & Sustainable Logistics Systems, Part 6: Formal Methods and Advanced Scheduling for Future Industrial Systems, Part 7: Applications and Demonstrators, Part 8: Production and Logistic Control Systems. The contributions focus on how the digital transformation, such as the one advocated by "Industry 4.0" or "Industry of the future" concepts, can improve the maintainability and the sustainability of manufacturing processes, products, and logistics. Digital transformation relates to the interaction between the physical and informational worlds and is realized by virtualization of products, processes and resources managed as services.

Book Decomposition Methods for Complex Factory Scheduling Problems

Download or read book Decomposition Methods for Complex Factory Scheduling Problems written by Irfan M. Ovacik and published by Springer Science & Business Media. This book was released on 2012-12-06 with total page 217 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The factory scheduling problem, that of allocating machines to competing jobs in manufacturing facilities to optimize or at least improve system performance, is encountered in many different manufacturing environments. Given the competitive pressures faced by many companies in today's rapidly changing global markets, improved factory scheduling should contribute to a flrm's success. However, even though an extensive body of research on scheduling models has been in existence for at least the last three decades, most of the techniques currently in use in industry are relatively simplistic, and have not made use of this body of knowledge. In this book we describe a systematic, long-term research effort aimed at developing effective scheduling algorithms for complex manufacturing facilities. We focus on a speciflc industrial context, that of semiconductor manufacturing, and try to combine knowledge of the physical production system with the methods and results of scheduling research to develop effective approximate solution procedures for these problems. The class of methods we suggest, decomposition methods, constitute a broad family of heuristic approaches to large, NP-hard scheduling problems which can be applied in other environments in addition to those studied in this book.

Book Manufacturing Planning and Control

Download or read book Manufacturing Planning and Control written by Patrik Jonsson and published by McGraw-Hill Education. This book was released on 2009 with total page 468 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Manufacturing Planning and Control by Patrik Jonsson and Stig-Arne Mattsson This new book takes a comprehensive look at manufacturing planning and control from the manufacturing company's perspective but the focus is both on the intra-organisational system and on the supply chain as a whole. With its unique focus on understanding the characteristics of planning processes, methods and techniques and how to design and use processes, methods and techniques in various planning environments, this book has an important relevance from an applied industry point of view. It provides you with knowledge and guidelines on how to develop the planning environment, and how to design and use planning processes and methods efficiently and effectively in operational practice. This book is an important learning tool for undergraduates and postgraduates and will help them develop an understand of manufacturing planning and control that goes beyond statistics and calculation, and provides knowledge and frameworks for designing planning processes in different industrial environments. This book supports all modules on APICS's CPIM certification program. Key Features: Problems, Exercises Examples Many of the chapters feature problems and exercises to help explain concepts. Examples of how methods and concepts are used in practice are integrated throughout the text. Discussion Tasks This feature encourages you to review and apply the knowledge you have acquired from each chapter. Cases and Discussion Questions End of chapter cases illustrate current practice and key concepts defined and described in the book. Each case is followed by a set of questions to help you critically apply your understanding and further develop some of the topics introduced to you. Patrik Jonsson is Professor of operations and supply chain management at Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden. Stig-Arne Mattsson has 30 years of industry experience in operations management, supply chain management and information systems. He has also been Adjunct Professor in supply chain management, first at Växjö University and later at Lund University.
