Download or read book Optimisation de l Ordonnancement Dans Un Environnement Incertain written by Djamel Berkoune and published by Omniscriptum. This book was released on 2018-02-28 with total page 156 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.

Download or read book Ordonnancement en milieu incertain mise en oeuvre d une d marche robuste written by André Rossi and published by . This book was released on 2003 with total page 148 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.

This book was released on 2005 with total page 145 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.

This book was released on 2013 with total page 0 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.

Download or read book Ordonnancement dans les ateliers hybrides en environnement incertain written by Ghassen Cherif and published by . This book was released on 2021 with total page 132 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.

Book Human Performance in Planning and Scheduling

Download or read book Human Performance in Planning and Scheduling written by B L MacCarthy and published by CRC Press. This book was released on 2003-09-02 with total page 479 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Understanding how to make the best of human skills and knowledge is essential in the design of technology and jobs, particularly where these involve decision-making and uncertainty. Recent developments have been made in naturalistic decision-making, distributed cognition and situational awareness, particularly with respect to aviation, transport and strategic planning, the nuclear industry and other high-risk industries. Despite the integration of computer-based support systems in production scheduling in recent years, the reality is that most enterprises consist of reactive re-scheduling, involving a high degree of human involvement. It is often with the insight, knowledge and skills of people that scheduling skills can function with any degree of success. Human Performance in Planning and Scheduling covers many industries, including clothing, steel, machine tools, paper/board, and the automobile industry. Using international case studies from various manufacturing industries, they highlight the fact that the human scheduler is a pivotal element in the scheduling process. Each section of the book includes an introduction with an overview of the material to follow, clearly identifying themes, discussion points and highlights inter-connections between the authors' work.

Book Decentralised Internet of Things

Download or read book Decentralised Internet of Things written by Mohammad Ayoub Khan and published by Springer. This book was released on 2020-02-14 with total page 254 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book presents practical as well as conceptual insights into the latest trends, tools, techniques and methodologies of blockchains for the Internet of Things. The decentralised Internet of Things (IoT) not only reduces infrastructure costs, but also provides a standardised peer-to-peer communication model for billions of transactions. However, there are significant security challenges associated with peer-to-peer communication. The decentralised concept of blockchain technology ensures transparent interactions between different parties, which are more secure and reliable thanks to distributed ledger and proof-of-work consensus algorithms. Blockchains allow trustless, peer-to-peer communication and have already proven their worth in the world of financial services. The blockchain can be implanted in IoT systems to deal with the issues of scale, trustworthiness and decentralisation, allowing billions of devices to share the same network without the need for additional resources. This book discusses the latest tools and methodology and concepts in the decentralised Internet of Things. Each chapter presents an in-depth investigation of the potential of blockchains in the Internet of Things, addressing the state-of-the-art in and future perspectives of the decentralised Internet of Things. Further, industry experts, researchers and academicians share their ideas and experiences relating to frontier technologies, breakthrough and innovative solutions and applications.

Book Naturalistic Decision Making

Download or read book Naturalistic Decision Making written by Caroline E. Zsambok and published by Psychology Press. This book was released on 2014-01-02 with total page 435 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: If you aren't using the term naturalistic decision making, or NDM, you soon will be. Even as a very young field, NDM has already had far-reaching applications in areas as diverse as management, aviation, health care, nuclear power, military command and control, corporate teamwork, and manufacturing. Put simply, NDM is the way people use their experience to make decisions in the context of a job or task. Of particular interest to NDM researchers are the effects of high-stake consequences, shifting goals, incomplete information, time pressure, uncertainty, and other conditions that are present in most of today's work places and that add to the complexity of decision making. Applications of NDM research findings target decision aids and training that help people in their decision-making processes. This book reports the findings of top NDM researchers, as well as many of their current applications. In addition, the book offers a historical perspective on the emergence of this new paradigm, describes recent theoretical and methodological advancements, and points to future developments. It was written for people interested in decision making research and applications relative to a diverse array of work settings and products such as human-computer interfaces, decision support systems, individual and team training, product designs, and organizational development and planning.
