Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Written in August 1982, Operation Juárez emerged from Lyndon LaRouche’s intense work to forge a policy alliance among the leaders of the United States, Mexico, and India, to replace the bankrupt international financial system with a just New World Economic Order, based on principles derived from Alexander Hamilton’s American System of Economics. As the author explains in his foreword: “We have named this report ‘Operation Juárez,’ in memory of the proper alliance between the American Whigs of the United States and the Mexican liberals from whose ranks Juárez emerged as a leading figure” – ie, the Lincoln-Juárez alliance. Immediately prior to writing Operation Juárez, LaRouche, who had been in dialogue with President Reagan’s closest advisers even prior to his inauguration in early 1981, had just travelled to New Delhi where he met with Prime Minister Gandhi on April 23, 1982, and he then visited Mexico where he met with President López Portillo on May 27, 1982. As Mexico and the entire developing sector were being subjected to withering economic warfare by a desperately bankrupt City of London and Wall Street, LaRouche presented to both heads of state a battle plan to win the war and create a New World Economic Order. After meeting with President López Portillo in May, LaRouche was invited back to Mexico in early July 1982, where he met with top advisers to the Mexican President, who asked him to put his policy proposals in writing for further study and consideration. LaRouche did that within a matter of weeks, completing Operation Juárez on August 10, 1982. Shortly thereafter, President López Portillo implemented many of LaRouche’s recommendations; but with Mexico's prospective allies undermined via British Imperial operations, Mexico was not strong enough on its own to withstand the British Imperial response. Nonetheless, developing nations studied closely Mr. LaRouche’s strategy and you will recognize, as you read this book, the congruence between ongoing actions on the world stage today and the principles outlined in this book. The congruence is not an accident!

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Only a few modern authors of surgical history in English have touched Franco. Only in Allbutt's wonderful little book do we find a generous account of Franco. Nicaise's Introduction provides the Reader with a biography of the author, who was a remote provincial surgeon, and a description of European Surgery as it was in his epoch. Nicaise did not limit himself to simple sketches or to a cursory review of the few extant items about Franco himself. He added a History of The College of Surgery after the 13th Century, and carried it until the Revolution of 1793. He notes with pride that his three Introductions and that written by Malgaigne in 1843 together are a nearly complete history of Surgery as it evolved in France.

The Luke Garrison mysteries are “compelling . . . taut, moving and wonderfully told” (Robert B. Parker). The Disappearance: Luke Garrison was a celebrated Santa Barbara DA—until he mistakenly sent a man to the gas chamber. Now, when the daughter of a media tycoon is murdered and the city is crying out for blood, Garrison has the unenviable job of defending the accused. And with so many false leads, family secrets, and killer twists, Garrison’s life and career are on trial too. Above the Law: In this New York Times bestseller, Luke Garrison must investigate a government cover-up. After a DEA raid ends in the death of a notorious drug overlord, defense attorney Garrison is persuaded by his old colleague Nora Ray to investigate. She’s convinced that the murder of the vicious kingpin is not what it seems—but rather part of a greater conspiracy that’s now drawing them into the line of fire. A Killing in the Valley: Maria Estrada, a hard-partying girl with family ties to some of the toughest gangsters in California, has been raped and murdered in the mansion of one the wealthiest landowners in the Santa Ynez Valley. Download or read book LaRouche Will This Man Become President written by Editors of Executive Intelligence Review and published by Executive Intelligence Review. This book was released on with total page 267 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In this 1983 report, the editors of Executive Intelligence Review (EIR) examine the process whereby Lyndon LaRouche came to create the private intelligence institution which has successfully guided civilization past the pitfalls created by the British imperial system and past mistaken world leaderships and mistaken ideologies to the brink of full implementation of what Lyndon LaRouche has called the New Paradigm of global cooperative development of science, technology and culture--from the Earth into the galaxy beyond. Lyndon LaRouche never became President of the United States, but as you look around the world today, note the resonance between the ideas he ceaselessly promoted and the actions being implemented by more and more Presidents of leading republics. He did not become President; he became the teacher of Presidents.
Download or read book The Belt and Road Initiative written by Francisco José B. S. Leandro and published by Springer Nature. This book was released on 2020-03-03 with total page 579 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book is an analysis of the developments associated with the Belt and Road Initiative (B&RI) five years after Xi Jinping announced both the Silk Road Economic Belt (SREB) and the 21st Maritime Silk Road (21MSR). Together, these two dimensions constitute the B&RI, providing the so-called Chinese ‘project of the century’ with regional, inter-regional and global reach. This book aims at assessing the impact of the B&RI in all these dimensions and levels of influence. This is a current and promising theme, not only in the short and medium terms, but also within a broader timescale, reflecting Chinese strategic thinking itself, since Chinese philosophy and culture are oriented towards long-term and inter-generational perspectives. Likewise, both the title of this publication and the way it has been organized result from the empirical perception that China asserts a conservative attitude towards foreign affairs, redesigned in multiple dimensions, to create a perception of domestic unity and global prestige. In this vein of thought, the B&RI is already influencing and will continue to influence, directly or indirectly, the current economic and political order.
