El fin de esta novela, es que todos aprendamos a ser seres simples, sin ambiciones desmedidas, pues el verdadero bienestar y amor que todos debemos de disfrutar, están siempre en el dar, no en el recibir, ya que el recibir a pesar de que nos beneficia, no nos da la gratificación de Dios, que embarga nuestro mas intimo ser.
