The discovery of Onanagbenen (royal Icons) textile apparel designs is an uncharted territory that provides a new frontier of opportunities. The work seeks to unravel the esoteric knowledge embedded in each of the ancient icons and symbols that were inscribed on most of the ancient Edo-Benin bronzes, ivories, bones, woodwork, textiles, apparel, and beads.
