Download or read book Understanding Sasquatch Behavior written by Dave Gibson and published by . This book was released on 2017-10-27 with total page 60 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book is my opinion of the behavior of the Keepers of the Forest, based on three years of habituating with Sasquatch and interacting with them on an almost daily basis. I think it is important to point out that while I am convinced I am right, as explained in this small booklet, I could very well be wrong. There are no experts in this field. Also consider that there may very well be more than one species of cryptid that we lump into one we call Sasquatch. As is explained in this little book, I am firmly convinced that our Sasquatch in the Adirondack Mountains of upstate New York are a people, not too unlike us, but yet very different. I am in total agreement with the Iroquois and other Native Americans who hold similar beliefs.

Book excerpt: Music is an integral part of our everyday lives but while we listen, we seldom hear the music. If you really listen to your favorite classic rock songs, you will find that they may tell a story, offer a thought-provoking message, inspire or spark the imagination. Listen to the Music reveals the overlooked messages hidden within the music of the 60’s & 70’s – messages that provide us with Timeless Lessons of Life. The book spotlights over 1100 excerpts from the lyrics of 750 songs written by 160 artists who launched their careers in the 60’s & 70’s. The music of this era reflects the turbulent events of two decades marked by unprecedented social, political, and economic change. Artists expressed through their music and lyrics what people were feeling during those turbulent times – love, anger, fear, frustration and hopes & dreams for peace and a better world. The complex challenges Americans faced in the 60’s and 70’s are strikingly similar to the times we find ourselves in today and the reader will discover that the messages hidden within the music of the 60’s & 70’s remain as relevant as they were 40 years ago. Life unfolds in much the same way for all of us. We grow up, fall in love, raise a family, live our everyday lives, cope with unexpected challenges and we grow wiser (not older)! Relevant lyric quotes can be found in chapters that correspond to one of these six stages of life. Download or read book Just a Song written by Stephen Owen and published by BRILL. This book was released on 2020-10-26 with total page 432 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: "“Song Lyric,” ci, remains one of the most loved forms of Chinese poetry. From the early eleventh century through the first quarter of the twelfth century, song lyric evolved from an impromptu contribution in a performance practice to a full literary genre, in which the text might be read more often than performed. Young women singers, either indentured or private entrepreneurs, were at the heart of song practice throughout the period; the authors of the lyrics were notionally mostly male. A strange gender dynamic arose, in which men often wrote in the voice of a woman and her imagined feelings, then appropriated that sensibility for themselves. As an essential part of becoming literature, a history was constructed for the new genre. At the same time the genre claimed a new set of aesthetic values to radically distinguish it from older “Classical Poetry,” shi. In a world that was either pragmatic or moralizing (or both), song lyric was a discourse of sensibility, which literally gave a beautiful voice to everything that seemed increasingly to be disappearing in the new Song dynasty world of righteousness and public advancement."
