Book Nutritional Nuggets and Nourishment for the Soul

Download or read book Nutritional Nuggets and Nourishment for the Soul written by Joyce A. Henderson and published by AuthorHouse. This book was released on 2023-02-23 with total page 56 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book is a must-read for those in all walks of life. It can be read by mature Saints, newly walking Saints, and those yet to be called Saints. It contains quick, easy-to-digest, thought-provoking points extracted from years of Bible study messages. This book can provide encouragement in your daily walk with God, or take you from faith to faith. Each nugget highlighted is a direct word from God through an anointed man of God. The Scripture reference is part of the message presented at that time. You may note other Scriptures relevant to your current circumstance or walk in life. It is a great tool to enhance your Bible studies. This is a first-time publication for Joyce, whose desire was to publish some of her notes before her milestone birthday (see Psalm 90:10). [And God gave her the desire of her heart – Psalm 37:4]. Her main desire though is that this writing will help kickstart someone seeking to know Jesus Christ for themselves; or to boost those who may have relaxed their biblical studying. She is prayerful and hopeful that all will continue in their Christian walk and follow God throughout their lifetime, so their path will leave a Christian legacy footprint for future generations.

Years ago, Brannan began collecting quotations from his readings. He calls them golden nuggets, and they have originated from many mines. In Nuggets from Many Mines, he shares a compilation of his favorites. These range from Tod Beamer’s “Are you guys ready? OK let’s roll,” to a leper’s cry, “Will I never be free?” And Alexander the Great’s, “I have my hopes.” Culled from a variety of sources, most especially the Bible, Nuggets from Many Mines, seeks to inspire, provide comfort, and help those who are experiencing problems and challenges in their lives.

Book NUGGETS OF THE NEW THOUGHT SEVERAL THINGS THAT HAVE HELPED PEOPLE

Download or read book NUGGETS OF THE NEW THOUGHT SEVERAL THINGS THAT HAVE HELPED PEOPLE written by WILLIAM WALKER ATKINSON and published by BEYOND BOOKS HUB. This book was released on 2014-06-01 with total page 117 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: I do not like writing a preface — it seems too much like an apology. I have no special apology to tender for offering this collection of New Thought nuggets. They may possess no literary merit, but they have helped men and women. With the exception of “The Secret of the I Am,” these essays appeared from month to month in “New Thought,” of which magazine I am associate editor. They were written hastily, principally upon the demand of the printer for “copy,” and, for the most part, were printed just as they were written, there being no time for revision or polishing up. You may pick up any one of them and find many sentences needing straightening out — many thoughts which could be better expressed by the change of a few words. Knowing these things, I first thought that I would go over each essay and add a little here, and take away a little there, polishing up and burnishing as I went along. But when I looked over them, my heart failed me. There they were just as they were written — just as they were dug out of my mind — and I hadn't the heart to change them. I remembered the circumstances surrounding the writing of every one of them, and I let them alone. A “nugget” polished up would be no longer a nugget. And these thoughts are nuggets — I dug them myself. I will not say much regarding the quality of the metal — that is for you — but you see them just as they came from the mine — rough, unpolished, mixed with the rock, queerly shaped. If you think that they contain metal of sufficiently good quality, refine them, melt them and fashion them into something useful or ornamental. For myself, I like things with the bark on — with the marks of the hammer — with the original quartz adhering to the metal. But others are of different taste — they like everything to feel smooth to the touch. They will not like these nuggets. Alas, I cannot help it — I cannot produce the beautifully finished article — I have nothing to offer other than the crude product of the mine. Here they are, polish them up yourself if you prefer them in that shape — I will not touch them.
