Book The Spiritual Implications of Quantum Physics

Download or read book The Spiritual Implications of Quantum Physics written by Jeff Carreira and published by . This book was released on 2023-02 with total page 0 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book is about science and how it works. It is about what it means for a paradigm to shift and what it really takes to shift it. And it is about the strange and unusual world of quantum physics and relativity theory, and what it tells us about who we are. At the start of the 20th Century, a dramatic revolution in science occurred. Over the course of a few decades our most fundamental notions of time, space and consciousness were all being called into question. In undeniable ways, it became clear that the nature of reality is intimately interwoven with our experience of it. We are not separate objective observers of a realty that exists independent of us. We co-create the reality that we experience. In this concise and clearly written book, you will learn about things that common sense would tell you should not be possible. And these are not results lying at the outer fringes of science; these are experimental results that no scientist doubts. The question this book addresses is this; Why, after nearly a century, have the radical implications of the new physics had so little impact on our everyday experience of reality? In these pages, Jeff Carreira draws on his training in science, meditation, and mystical philosophy, to create a unique exploration of this fascinating topic. All along the way, you will be guided to examine and question some of your most fundamental assumptions about what is possible, and you will be amazed to see how the way you think about reality actually shapes your experience of it.

Download or read book A new paradigm of reality written by Gonzalo Rodríguez-Fraile and published by Foundation for Consciousness Development. This book was released on 2015-11-04 with total page 226 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The vision that culture has historically offered about reality has failed to help humans to live fully or to achieve their potential. A knowledge revolution has been taking place in recent years that, once it is understood, can completely transform human beings, offering new solutions to personal and collective problems because their root causes have been identified at last. What we now know means that we can understand spiritual truths and their multiple dimensions without abandoning rationality. This new vision is strong enough to put an end to human suffering and boost inner peace, which is for what every being human yearns. New science sees an intelligent design in the whole Universe. Quantum physics has revolutionized our knowledge of reality. All scientists are now aware of the quantum "enigmas" but not everyone agrees on how to interpret them. This book offers an interpretation that might explain them, and one that is based on the idea of "science within consciousness". As you read the book, it will become evident that this interpretation most closely resembles the vision of reality that both the perennial wisdom of Humanity and the teachings of the great spiritual masters have offered us throughout history. The first part of the book outlines briefly what some of the leading thinkers on science and philosophy have to say about reality and how this new vision of the world is converging with what the perennial wisdom of Humanity has been saying throughout our history. The second part seeks to explain what can happen to us when we are exposed to this new knowledge and how all of us can change inside ourselves in the light of this information. This book aims to unite, not divide, helping Humanity to raise its level of consciousness, allowing us to live a higher quality life in accordance with our spiritual dimension.

Book Toward a Spiritual Research Paradigm

Download or read book Toward a Spiritual Research Paradigm written by Jing Lin and published by IAP. This book was released on 2016-07-01 with total page 308 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Spirituality and spiritual experiences have been the bedrock of every civilization and together form one of the highest mechanisms for making sense of the world for billions of people. Current research paradigms, due to their limitation to empirical, sensory, psychologically, or culturally constructed realities, fail to provide a framework for exploring this essential area of human experience. The development of a spiritual research paradigm will provide researchers from the social sciences and education the tools and abilities to systematically explore fundamental questions regarding human spiritual experiences and spiritual growth. A spiritual research paradigm requires an ontology that considers all reality to be multidimensional, interconnected, and interdependent. It requires an epistemology that integrates knowing from outer sources as well as inner contemplation, acknowledging our integration of soul and spirit with the body and mind. Three additional aspects are useful to a spiritual research paradigm: axiology, methodology, and teleology. An axiology concerns what is valued, good, and ethical. A methodology is the appropriate approach to systematic inquiry. A fifth and less frequently mentioned aspect is teleology, an explanation of the goal or end (telos) to which new knowledge is applied, such as gaining wisdom and truth, touching the divine, increasing inner peace, exploring hidden dimensions, or improving society. This book takes the first step to develop such a research paradigm. We draw from world spiritual traditions as well as scholarship that has arisen from contemplative practices. We also attempt to build a bridge between science and spirituality. Spiritual research is not necessarily opposed to scientific research; in fact, each can shed light on the other.

Book The Magic of Quantum Living

Download or read book The Magic of Quantum Living written by Edwin Nel and published by Balboa Press. This book was released on 2014-08-07 with total page 209 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Magic of Quantum Living is a revolutionizing new theory, bringing together quantum physics, spirituality, and religion in order to explain God and the interconnectedness of the entire universe. This new quantum theory is an inspirational message explaining the entanglement and interrelation of all things and people as part of one big collective consciousness: the oneness principle. This theory highlights the way our thoughts, words, and actions, which are based on our beliefs, create our reality within a greater collective reality. Practical examples and explanations assist the reader in examining their own beliefs and behaviours, with the aim to foster and cultivate a greater respect and love for all of life, humanity, and our planet.

Book Dawn of the Akashic Age

Download or read book Dawn of the Akashic Age written by Ervin Laszlo and published by Simon and Schuster. This book was released on 2013-05-20 with total page 195 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: A preview of the post-mechanistic, holistic world in 2020 and 2030 as well as a map of the obstacles we must overcome to get there • Reveals how the youngest generation is seeding the shift in consciousness • Explains how society will be reorganized into grassroots networks like those revealed by quantum physics and experienced through social media • With contributions from futurist John L. Petersen, ex-CEO of Sanyo Tomoya Nonaka, media activist Duane Elgin, and other visionaries The world is changing. The transition from the mechanistic worldview to one that recognizes the interconnectedness of all life is upon us. It is the dawning of the Akashic Age. The Akashic field that connects the universe is now recognized by cutting-edge science. What we know about communication, energy, and consciousness is rapidly evolving in tandem with the new quantum worldview. Many adults are consciously evolving to meet the transitional challenges at hand, while today’s youth have arrived already hard-wired with the new consciousness. Rising from the ashes of the old systems, this Phoenix generation of radical change agents is seeding our evolution and spiritual transformation, a process that will continue over the next few decades. Authors Ervin Laszlo and Kingsley Dennis look at the chief engine of the coming changes--the growing global understanding of nonlocality--and the development of practical applications for it. They examine how the new values and new consciousness taking hold will reorganize society from top-down hierarchies into grassroots networks like those revealed through quantum physics’ understanding of energy and information waves and experienced daily by millions through social media. With contributions from visionary thinkers such as futurist John L. Petersen, ex-CEO of Sanyo Tomoya Nonaka, media activist Duane Elgin, systems scientist Alexander Laszlo, and spiritual economist Charles Eisenstein, this book explores the future of education, spirituality, the media, economics, food, and planetary citizenship as well as the expansion of consciousness necessary to reach that future.

This book was released on 2022-08-01 with total page 160 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Peter Dodd Cooper’s book, The New Road and the Paradigm, is both a spiritual memoir and a series of scientific articles on his own exploration of the nature of consciousness and of reality itself. As a scientist, he brings credibility to this book with his credentials from a long and productive scientific career. From this vantage point, he then explores topics that don’t fit into our current materialist paradigm, looking deeper to see if he can find more satisfying answers. After exploring the mysteries of quantum physics, the, he concludes his exploration by saying, “Experiencers tell us that reality is that realm outside Plato’s cave, where colours are brighter and Oneness with everything is self-evident.

Book What is Reality

Download or read book What is Reality written by Ervin Laszlo and published by SelectBooks, Inc.. This book was released on 2016-10-04 with total page 248 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Ervin Laszlo's tour de force, What is Reality?, is the product of a half-century of deep contemplation and cutting-edge scholarship. Addressing many of the paradoxes that have confounded modern science over the years, it offers nothing less than a new paradigm of reality, one in which the cosmos is a seamless whole, informed by a single, coherent consciousness manifest in us all. Bringing together science, philosophy, and metaphysics, Laszlo takes aim at accepted wisdom, such as the dichotomies of mind and body, spirit and matter, being and nonbeing, to show how we are all part of an infinite cycle of existence unfolding in spacetime and beyond. Augmented by insightful commentary from a dozen scholars and thinkers, along with a foreword by Deepak Chopra and an introduction by Stanislav Grof, What is Reality? offers a fresh and liberating understanding of the meaning and purpose of existence.

Download or read book The Akasha Paradigm in Science written by Ervin Laszlo and published by Waterside Publications. This book was released on 2012-06-01 with total page 178 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The bestselling author or SCIENCE AND THE ASKASHIC FIELD now presents the definitive theory of the Akasha Paradigm-a bold new perspective, emerging from findings at the cutting edge of physics. Rather than view the things we experience as real and the space that embeds them as empty and passive, in the Akasha concept it is the space that is real, while the things embedded in that space are secondary. Essentially, a unity paradigm, Akasha embraces, and then transcends, the old paradigms of religion as well as the paradigms of modern science providing insights into values like harmony and truth, and life-sustaining implications for humankind. THE AKASHA PARADIGM IN SCIENCE includes contributions from Peter Jakubowski, L szl Gazdag, Paul A. LaViolette, David W. Thomson III and James D. Bourassa. "The Akasha is the fundamental building block of an evolving, maturing mind. Understanding it opens the way to a higher morality and a higher consciousness." --Deepak Chopra "The Akasha paradigm as set forth by Ervin Laszlo tells us that life exists within a pattern that is coherent beyond our wildest dreams. Living systems seek harmony throughout their evolutionary journey. This insight uplifts our spirit and imbues our life with new meaning." --Kingsley Dennis Author, researcher and futurist "In this brilliant book, Ervin Laszlo tells a story for the 21st century, a narrative inspired by a much earlier story from ancient India, the Akashic Records, perhaps the first "theory of everything...in his remarkable update of Bruno, Copernicus, Galileo, Darwin, Einstein and others, Ervin Laszlo, heeding Plato's warning, that even the best account of the nature of reality is but a likely story, has now good reason to tell us, 'the Akasha paradigm is the likeliest story we can tell today.'" --Stanley Krippner, Ph.D. Internationally reknowned psychologist and author; co-author of DEMYSTIFYING SHAMANS AND THEIR WORLD: An Interdisciplinary Study "With the Akasha paradigm we are entering what might be called an Age of Reconciliation...a powerful expression of a new partnership between progressive science and progressive religion.... Laszlo's grounding for the kind of mindset we need to gain a better future has been examined and blessed by more leading scientists than any other I know of." --David Loye Award winning author and Founder of The Darwin Project "Science has outgrown its dominant paradigm. We need a new paradigm to understand the world that emerges at the cutting-edge of the sciences. Laszlo's Akasha paradigm fulfills this requirement. This is a revolutionary accomplishment of enormous scope and indisputable relevance." --Edgar Mitchell, Ph.D. Apollo 14 Astronaut and Founder of the Institute of Noetic Sciences which sponsors research into the nature of consciousness as it relates to cosmology and causality

  • Author : Amit Goswami
  • Publisher : Quest Books

  • Pages : 341 pages

Download or read book The Visionary Window written by Amit Goswami and published by Quest Books. This book was released on 2012-12-19 with total page 341 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Does God exist? Can spirituality be integrated with science? Is happiness possible? Do miracles really happen? Not only does The Visionary Window answer " yes" to all of these questions, but it skillfully combines the fields of philosophy, cosmology, religion, and psychology to form a new way of thinking about science and spirituality. Stepping beyond the classic work of prominent seventies physicist Fritjof Capra, Goswami details his own pioneering exploration of science and spirit, revealing the complete integration between modern science and spiritual traditions. Using stories and colorful examples from pop culture, Goswami addresses complex issues in language and terminology easily accessible to the lay reader. He provides quantum physics-based theory and new experimental data verifying the metaphysical truth that exists when employed in the context of a new science, science within the primacy of consciousness. With a new holistic worldview, Goswami also discusses the creativity of the body to self heal; the power of spiritual practice and how to choose a meditative path; and the five stages of spiritual growth, culminating in the ability to transcend the physical laws of nature. Readers, scientists and spiritual leaders alike will find answers to many of life’s deepest mysteries.

Book The New Evolutionary Paradigm

Download or read book The New Evolutionary Paradigm written by Ervin Laszlo and published by Routledge. This book was released on 2019-07-18 with total page 220 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Originally published in 1991, The New Evolutionary Paradigm provides an innovative and cross disciplinary look at evolution. While Darwin’s theory of evolution was originally restricted to the life sciences, in recent years the same principles have been applied successfully to historical, social and natural sciences. The papers included in The New Evolutionary Paradigm analyse the facts, observations, and accumulated data from the significance of a general evolution theory cannot be overemphasised; a new understanding of the cosmos and man’s relationship to it could lead to the systemization of the irreversible change that takes place in society and nature. This book will appeal to scientists, sociologists and those interested in transdisciplinary evolution theories.
