Book The Basic Notions for over off under Neutrosophic Geometric Programming Problems

Download or read book The Basic Notions for over off under Neutrosophic Geometric Programming Problems written by Huda E. Khalid and published by Infinite Study. This book was released on 2018-07-01 with total page 13 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Neutrosophic (over, off, under) set and logic were defined for the first time in 1995 by Florentin Smarandache, and presented during 1995-2018 to various national and international conferences and seminars. The (over, off, under) neutrosophic geometric programming was put forward by Huda et al. in (2016), in an attempt to define a new type of geometric programming using (over, off, under) neutrosophic less than or equal to. This paper completes the basic notions of (over, off, under) neutrosophic geometric programming illustrating its convexity condition, and its decomposition theorems. The definitions of (α, β, γ) and strong (α, β, γ) are introduced, and some of their important properties are proved.

Book Neutrosophic Sets in Decision Analysis and Operations Research

Download or read book Neutrosophic Sets in Decision Analysis and Operations Research written by Abdel-Basset, Mohamed and published by IGI Global. This book was released on 2019-12-27 with total page 470 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In information technology, the concepts of cost, time, delivery, space, quality, durability, and price have gained greater importance in solving managerial decision-making problems in supply chain models, transportation problems, and inventory control problems. Moreover, competition is becoming tougher in imprecise environments. Neutrosophic sets and logic are gaining significant attention in solving real-life problems that involve uncertainty, impreciseness, vagueness, incompleteness, inconsistency, and indeterminacy. Neutrosophic Sets in Decision Analysis and Operations Research is a critical, scholarly publication that examines various aspects of organizational research through mathematical equations and algorithms and presents neutrosophic theories and their applications in various optimization fields. Featuring a wide range of topics such as information retrieval, decision making, and matrices, this book is ideal for engineers, technicians, designers, mathematicians, practitioners of mathematics in economy and technology, scientists, academicians, professionals, managers, researchers, and students.

Book excerpt: In this volume, we present a set of research that was published in cooperation with a number of researchers and those interested in keeping pace with the great scientific development that our contemporary world is witnessing, and one of its products was neutrosophic science, which was founded by the American scientist and mathematical philosopher Florentin Smarandache in 1995. Through it, we present a new vision for some research methods. Operations research to the concepts of this science.

This theory considers every notion or idea together with its opposite or negation and with their spectrum of neutralities in between them (i.e. notions or ideas supporting neither nor ). The and ideas together are referred to as . Neutrosophy is a generalization of Hegel's dialectics (the last one is based on and only). According to this theory every idea tends to be neutralized and balanced by and ideas - as a state of equilibrium. In a classical way , , are disjoint two by two. But, since in many cases the borders between notions are vague, imprecise, Sorites, it is possible that , , (and of course) have common parts two by two, or even all three of them as well. Neutrosophic Set and Neutrosophic Logic are generalizations of the fuzzy set and respectively fuzzy logic (especially of intuitionistic fuzzy set and respectively intuitionistic fuzzy logic).
