Das Buch ermöglicht einerseits die Eingliederung dieser Werke in einen länger fristigen künstlerischen Prozess, gibt aber auch Einblick in die vielschichtigen Verknüpfungen, in die Widersprüche und Freundschaften, und letztlich in die Öffnung neuer Dialogräume, die der Austausch mit Indien hervorgebracht hat. Nesa Gschwend, geboren 1959 in Altstätten SG, studierte szenische Gestaltung an der Hochschule für Gestaltung und Kunst in Zürich. Nach Stationen in St.Gallen, Bologna und Berlin lebt sie heute im Kanton Aargau. Seit 1987 arbeitet sie in den Bereichen Performance, Installation, Video und Zeichnung und realisiert Projekte im In- und Ausland.
