The Revenant was more feared than a vampire because they could freely walk in the daytime and could enter homes without invitation. The only way to protect against the return of the dead includes cutting off the head or legs, placing the deceased face down in their grave to bite into the ground, burning them, and smashing them with a stone. Let us begin with the story. Once upon a time, in a small, tight-knit town nestled within the embrace of a dense forest, an urban legend gripped the hearts of the townsfolk. The tale spoke of a vengeful Revenant, a creature that emerged from the depths of the shadows seeking retribution for a centuries-old injustice. Long ago, in the early 1400s, a kindhearted innkeeper named Nathaniel owned a thriving establishment at the edge of town. He was known for his warm hospitality and generosity towards travelers passing through the region. However, jealousy and greed festered within the hearts of some, particularly a rival innkeeper named Bartholomew. Bartholomew sought to ruin Nathaniel's success, plotting to burn down his inn and take over his clientele.
