It was not originally a written language and many Indigenous people have been working together to preserve this unique language. We have created this coloring book to teach some basic Ojibway words in a fun way. There are many different dialects, which results in different spellings, but with this activity book we hope to create an understanding of Ojibway pronunciations. Anyone can learn Ojibwe! If you or your children enjoy this coloring book, please watch out for more volumes as we grow our publications. This book is 8x10 inches and features a pronunciation guide on the opening page so you can practice speaking basic Ojibwe at your own pace. Volume 1 includes 23 pages of simple, yet realistic illustrations with the Ojibway word underneath followed by an English translation. Volume 1 features animals, foods, and three basic phrases.
