Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The universe creates life. The Earth and the ocean give life to human beings. The monocytic creature that can't be recognized with the eyes evolves into human - the most intelligent creature. However, the source of life is from the ocean. The power and fire of life that comes from the ocean is eternal in our mind. The earth and the ocean, the ocean and human beings, the human beings and sickness, unicellular creatures and multicellular creatures, and life are linked to each other to establish contacts among individuals in life and these links cannot be separated from each other. Nature has its own distinguished rules and fixed structure. The fundamental rules endow every creature different powers which are unique. Human beings are tiny pieces of dust in the vast universe. The fact that we are living on the Earth suggests that we'd suffer some hardship and illness. The greatest significance of life is to find the meaning of life Some people regard the journey as the miracle of life. And some people consider the answer as the miracle of life. It's the power of life to us all. I once almost lost my life and I almost couldn't keep on my journey to look for the essence and happiness of life. What a great fortune that Sheila is always by my side. It's also lucky that I encountered the magical marine phytoplankton--the blessing from nature that keeps me alive. I am convinced that it's the will of God. It guides me to help other people to look for the meaning of life and stick to it when we are suffering from the disease. If we are convinced that hope is within our grasp all the time, we can create miracles.

Book Being Held by God

Book excerpt: On May 30, 2008, Nannette Jodar received a diagnosis of Stage 4 Inflammatory Breast Cancer. The disease had spread to her liver and the surrounding lymph nodes, up to her thyroid. In the medical field, this is a worst of the worse diagnosis, most likely ending in death. With a broken heart and dwindled hope, Jodar began to pray. Then, two weeks later, the timorous hot spots were gone. Miracle or misdiagnosis? Her doctors would say miracle, as would Jodar herself. The medical community was astounded by her progressso much so that they had no idea how to follow up. Nannette Jodar has since been called a Miracle Woman, and to this day, she serves as a beacon of hope to other women suffering from similar disease. Being Held by God is the story of her journey, but it is not only a retelling: it is a reckoning. Jodar is healed, and it was through her self-designed process of seeking the counsel of an herbal doctor, changing her diet, prayer, and belief that she was being guided towards her course of a cure. She now serves as an advocate to those who desire to stay healthy or become healthy through proactive love of their body-temples. Our lives are a divine gift, and as soon as we see them as such, the healing can begin.

Download or read book Cured written by Jeffrey Rediger, M.D. and published by Flatiron Books. This book was released on 2020-02-04 with total page 433 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: When it comes to disease, who beats the odds — and why? When it comes to spontaneous healing, skepticism abounds. Doctors are taught that “miraculous” recoveries are flukes, and as a result they don’t study those cases or take them into account when treating patients. Enter Dr. Jeff Rediger, who has spent over 15 years studying spontaneous healing, pioneering the use of scientific tools to investigate recoveries from incurable illnesses. Dr. Rediger’s research has taken him from America’s top hospitals to healing centers around the world—and along the way he’s uncovered insights into why some people beat the odds. In Cured, Dr. Rediger digs down to the root causes of illness, showing how to create an environment that sets the stage for healing. He reveals the patterns behind healing and lays out the physical and mental principles associated with recovery: first, we need to physically heal our diet and our immune systems. Next, we need to mentally heal our stress response and our identities. Through rigorous research, Dr. Rediger shows that much of our physical reality is created in our minds. Our perception changes our experience, even to the point of changing our physical bodies—and thus the healing of our identity may be our greatest tool to recovery. Ultimately, miracles only contradict what we know of nature at this point in time. Cured leads the way in explaining the science behind these miracles, and provides a first-of-its-kind guidebook to both healing and preventing disease.

Book Miracle Survivors

Download or read book Miracle Survivors written by Tami Boehmer and published by Simon and Schuster. This book was released on 2014-11-11 with total page 224 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: If you have received an incurable cancer diagnosis, hearing about someone “who made it” is like spotting a rescue ship when you’re drowning in a stormy sea. Miracle Survivors provides that lifeline with a collection of stories of cancer survivors who were given a terminal diagnosis but shocked everyone by thriving years past their prognoses. These “miracle survivors” have different cancers and circumstances, but share a poor prognosis and incredible drive to overcome it. After being diagnosed with stage IV breast cancer, award-winning author and blogger Tami Boehmer decided she and others like her desperately needed hope to override the dismal statistics and death sentences provided by many doctors. So she began interviewing incredible men and women from around the country who defied the odds and lived to tell about it. Miracle Survivors will help answer the question: What sets people apart who beat the odds of a terminal or incurable prognosis? Overcoming the odds wasn’t something that just happened to those who share their stories. Each person took a very active role in overcoming their challenges, whether it was activating their faith or transforming their lifestyle. Rather than passively accepting their circumstances, they decided to transform them. The book is essential reading for anyone with cancer, their loved ones, and everyone else who wants inspiration to conquer their life challenges.

Download or read book Chemotherapy No Thanks written by Inka Sattler and published by Createspace Independent Publishing Platform. This book was released on 2015-11-12 with total page 158 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Ten months after her shock diagnosis "breast cancer with bone metastases", the 47-year-old Inka was severely marked by the disease: paralysed from the waist down, totally emaciated and worn down by immense pain, she went into the palliative care unit. The conventional doctors helped her but also held a knife to her breast: with her "metastasising breast cancer", as it was called in the official diagnosis, she would have no chance of surviving more than a few weeks if she did not finally agree to chemotherapy and an operation. However, the former staff nurse declined the doctors' recommendations of chemotherapy, antibody therapy, anti-hormonal therapy, an operation and radiation treatment on her breast because she had decided to tackle her disease with the aid of the Five Biological Laws discovered by Dr Hamer. These say that cancer heals completely naturally when the conflicts causing it have been resolved. In this book Inka has got off her chest how she managed to walk again - despite the doctors' claims that her legs would be permanently paralysed - with God's help and her family's love. The more than 20 sometimes adventurous therapies with which Inka more or less accelerated her healing from cancer are described. The reader is thus given help in deciding which of the treatments presented come into question for themselves or their relatives. Here the New Medicine does not act as a therapy but as the scientific basis making healing possible at all. And in this way the "diary of healing from cancer" has become a book about how cancer is biologically curable. However, it makes absolute sense to read this book BEFORE you fall into the well or before you get cancer, just as it is known to be advisable to learn to swim before you fall into the water.

Book Ordinary Miracles

    Book Details:
  • Author : S. David Nathanson
  • Publisher : Bloomsbury Publishing USA
  • Release : 2007-04-30
  • ISBN : 1567207294
  • Pages : 205 pages

Download or read book Ordinary Miracles written by S. David Nathanson and published by Bloomsbury Publishing USA. This book was released on 2007-04-30 with total page 205 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: After nearly three decades of providing medical care for women and men facing breast cancer, surgeon S. David Nathanson calls the survival rates today an ordinary miracle. Ordinary because the vast majority of patients now do live at least 20 years after diagnosis due to enormous progress that has been made in medicine; and a miracle too because of the intangible qualities such as faith and hope that seem key to success in battling the disease. In this book, survivors describe their experiences, emotions, and means to overcome the disease. S. David Nathanson is an esteemed, longtime surgeon who calls the survival rates today for women and men facing breast cancer nothing short of an ordinary miracle. Ordinary because the vast majority of patients live at least two decades after diagnosis, due to great advances that have been made in early detection, surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy. But also a miracle because we know that key elements for a woman or man succeeding in a personal battle against breast cancer include completely intangible qualities of courage, fortitude, trust, persistence, faith, and hope. Although science cannot completely explain it, a supportive network of family and friends with those qualities also empower patient survival and recovery. In these pages, Nathanson shares stories from his patients, teaching us about the experience of breast cancer and explaining how they found and fueled the will and power to defeat the disease. Even surgeon Nathanson himself cannot fully describe what goes through the hearts and minds of breast cancer patients as they discover, deal with, and finally triumph over the diagnosis. So in this book he acts as a narrator, letting his ordinary yet miraculous cancer survivors tell their stories, certainly filled with fear of the known and unknown, and with pain, but opening up to courage, love, sometimes humor, and finally hope. It is hope that firms up their resilience; hope that initiates their fortitude. Hope is an important component of healing, says the surgeon. Seventy-one survivors, including one man, tell their stories to ilustrate every step of the experience.
