In all these, I will always love and remember Africa, the home of my birth and must respect her cultures and traditions as an AFRICAN AUTHOR.

The town I was raised in had a population of 1,000. I think that also included all of the cats, dogs and mice. For the most part, this was a very safe place to grow up. We didn't lock our doors. You could leave things in your car and not worry about whether someone was going to steal them. There were no drugs that we knew of. However, there was booze and cigarettes. I was adopted and raised by my grandparents. I went to live in California with my biological father when I was a senior in high school. Not the best decision I ever made. Anyway, this story chronicles my adversities from age 9 months thru age 64 and how I dealt with each of them. I hope that this can help all those who read it. Stay strong and have faith.
