Next, the text presents a brief listing of '40s and early '50s performers who contributed significantly to the roots of rock 'n' roll music. What follows throughout the text is a bibliographic salute to the recording legends of '50s music, plus an acknowledgement of the most important non-recording professional figures of the same period. Finally, "The Keepers of The Rock 'N' Roll Flame" are enumerated.
