Book Linguistic neutrosophic Hamacher aggregation operators and the application in evaluating land reclamation schemes for mines

Download or read book Linguistic neutrosophic Hamacher aggregation operators and the application in evaluating land reclamation schemes for mines written by Weizhang Liang and published by Infinite Study. This book was released on with total page 29 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Land reclamation has become a significant way for the improvement of ecological environment in mining areas. When selecting the optimal land reclamation scheme, LNNs (linguistic neutrosophic numbers) are suitable to describe the complex fuzzy evaluation information through linguistic truth, indeterminacy and falsity membership degrees. Furthermore, the Hamacher aggregation operators are good tools to handle multi-criteria decision making problems. Accordingly, the aim of this paper is to extend Hamacher aggregation operators with LNNs and then build a decision making framework for evaluating land reclamation schemes in mining areas.

Book excerpt: Neutrosophy (1995) is a new branch of philosophy that studies triads of the form (, , ), where is an entity {i.e. element, concept, idea, theory, logical proposition, etc.}, is the opposite of , while is the neutral (or indeterminate) between them, i.e., neither nor . Based on neutrosophy, the neutrosophic triplets were founded, which have a similar form (x, neut(x), anti(x)), that satisfy several axioms, for each element x in a given set. This collective book presents original research papers by many neutrosophic researchers from around the world, that report on the state-of-the-art and recent advancements of neutrosophic triplets, neutrosophic duplets, neutrosophic multisets and their algebraic structures – that have been defined recently in 2016 but have gained interest from world researchers. Book Linguistic neutrosophic power Muirhead mean operators for safety evaluation of mines

Download or read book Linguistic neutrosophic power Muirhead mean operators for safety evaluation of mines written by Suizhi Luo and published by Infinite Study. This book was released on with total page 21 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Safety is the fundamental guarantee for the sustainable development of mining enterprises. As the safety evaluation of mines is a complex system engineering project, consistent and inconsistent, even hesitant evaluation information may be contained simultaneously. Linguistic neutrosophic numbers (LNNs), as the extensions of linguistic terms, are effective means to entirely and qualitatively convey such evaluation information with three independent linguistic membership functions. The aim of our work is to investigate several mean operators so that the safety evaluation issues of mines are addressed under linguistic neutrosophic environment.

Book METHODS FOR SOLVING DECISION MAKING PROBLEMS UNDER UNCERTAIN ENVIRONMENT

Download or read book METHODS FOR SOLVING DECISION MAKING PROBLEMS UNDER UNCERTAIN ENVIRONMENT written by NANCY and published by Infinite Study. This book was released on with total page 306 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Multiple-criteria decision-making (MCDM) problems are the imperative part of modern decision theory where a set of alternatives has to be assessed against the multiple influential attributes before the best alternative is selected. In a decision-making(DM) process, an important problem is how to express the preference value. Due to the increasing complexity of the socioeconomic environment and the lack of knowledge or the data about the DM problems, it is difficult for the decision maker to give the exact decision as there is always an imprecise, vague or uncertain information.

Book A novel divergence measure and its based TOPSIS method for multi criteria decision making under single valued neutrosophic environment

Download or read book A novel divergence measure and its based TOPSIS method for multi criteria decision making under single valued neutrosophic environment written by Nancy and published by Infinite Study. This book was released on with total page 15 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The theme of this work is to present an axiomatic definition of divergence measure for single-valued neutrosophic sets (SVNSs). The properties of the proposed divergence measure have been studied. Further, we develop a novel technique for order preference by similarity to ideal solution (TOPSIS) method for solving single-valued neutrosophic multi-criteria decision-making with incomplete weight information. Finally, a numerical example is presented to verify the proposed approach and to present its effectiveness and practicality.

Book Neutrosophic Operational Research

Book excerpt: This book addresses new concepts, methods, algorithms, modeling, and applications of green supply chain, inventory control problems, assignment problems, transportation problem, linear problems and new information related to optimization for the topic from the theoretical and applied viewpoints of neutrosophic sets and logic. The book is an innovatory of new tools and procedures, such as: Neutrosophic Statistical Tests and Dependent State Samplings, Neutrosophic Probabilistic Expert Systems, Neutrosophic HyperSoft Set, Quadripartitioned Neutrosophic Cross-Entropy, Octagonal and Spherical and Cubic Neutrosophic Numbers used in machine learning. It highlights the process of neutrosofication {which means to split the universe into three parts, two opposite ones (Truth and Falsehood), and an Indeterminate or neutral one (I) in between them}. It explains Three-Ways Decision, how the universe set is split into three different distinct areas, in regard to the decision process, representing: Acceptance, Noncommitment, and Rejection, respectively. The Three-Way Decision is used in the Neutrosophic Linguistic Rough Set, which has never been done before.

Book Multi Aspect Decision Making Process in Equity Investment Using Neutrosophic Soft Matrices

Download or read book Multi Aspect Decision Making Process in Equity Investment Using Neutrosophic Soft Matrices written by Chinnadurai Veerappan and published by Infinite Study. This book was released on with total page 18 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Neutrosophic theory alleviates the ambiguity situation more effectively than fuzzy sets. Neutrosophic soft set deals with the combination of truth, indeterminacy and falsity membership. This provides a space for the convention with multi-aspect decision-making (MADM) problems that involve these combinations. The main aim of this paper is to provide a unique ranking for the alternatives to overcome the existing drawbacks in the said environment. Initially, a new score function and the weighted neutrosophic vector are discussed.

Book Fuzzy Techniques for Decision Making 2018

Download or read book Fuzzy Techniques for Decision Making 2018 written by José Carlos R. Alcantud and published by MDPI. This book was released on 2020-12-02 with total page 776 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Zadeh's fuzzy set theory incorporates the impreciseness of data and evaluations, by imputting the degrees by which each object belongs to a set. Its success fostered theories that codify the subjectivity, uncertainty, imprecision, or roughness of the evaluations. Their rationale is to produce new flexible methodologies in order to model a variety of concrete decision problems more realistically. This Special Issue garners contributions addressing novel tools, techniques and methodologies for decision making (inclusive of both individual and group, single- or multi-criteria decision making) in the context of these theories. It contains 38 research articles that contribute to a variety of setups that combine fuzziness, hesitancy, roughness, covering sets, and linguistic approaches. Their ranges vary from fundamental or technical to applied approaches.

Book Some Root Level Modifications in Interval Valued Fuzzy Graphs and Their Generalizations Including Neutrosophic Graphs

Download or read book Some Root Level Modifications in Interval Valued Fuzzy Graphs and Their Generalizations Including Neutrosophic Graphs written by Naeem Jan and published by Infinite Study. This book was released on with total page 23 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Fuzzy graphs (FGs) and their generalizations have played an essential role in dealing with real-life problems involving uncertainties. The goal of this article is to show some serious flaws in the existing definitions of several root-level generalized FG structures with the help of some counterexamples. To achieve this, first, we aim to improve the existing definition for interval-valued FG, interval-valued intuitionistic FG and their complements, as these existing definitions are not well-defined; i.e., one can obtain some senseless intervals using the existing definitions. The limitations of the existing definitions and the validity of the new definitions are supported with some examples.
