This material is contained in the appendix. The history of Mount Adar Baptist Church inevitably reflects its cooperation with other Baptists through the Mount Zion Baptist Association and through all levels of Southern Baptist work. Names have been used when they were available. The writer has attempted to make the history as objective as possible, allowing the record to speak for itself. The current controversy in the Southern Baptist Convention is mentioned only to explain certain actions occuring in the Mount Zion Baptist Association and at Mount Adar Baptist Church.
