Book Einkernige Verbindungen ohne Ferrocene Mononuclear Compounds Excluding Ferrocenes 15

Download or read book Einkernige Verbindungen ohne Ferrocene Mononuclear Compounds Excluding Ferrocenes 15 written by Annette Kuhn and published by Springer. This book was released on 1988-12-22 with total page 409 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The present volume Organoiron Compounds B 15 systematically covers the literature through the end of 1987 and includes additional references from 1988. The volume continues Series B (volumes B 1 to B 14 already published) on the mononuclear organoiron compounds; Series A (volumes A 1 to A 8 already published) is devoted to the ferrocenes and Series C (volumes C 1 to C 5 and C 7 already published) treats organoiron compounds with two or Fe atoms in the molecule. The present volume B 15 deals in the mainpart with cations of the type Ä5LFe(CO)3Ü+. These cations are easily obtained from tricarbonyl(diene)iron complexes, and substitution reactions of the 5L ligand with nucleophiles have attracted considerable interest. Smaller sections are dedicated to compounds containing CS or isocyanide ligands with a 5L ligand, which is generally C5H5. The volume is completed by a formula and ligand index.

Book The Impact of Food Bioactives on Health

Download or read book The Impact of Food Bioactives on Health written by Kitty Verhoeckx and published by Springer. This book was released on 2015-04-29 with total page 341 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: “Infogest” (Improving Health Properties of Food by Sharing our Knowledge on the Digestive Process) is an EU COST action/network in the domain of Food and Agriculture that will last for 4 years from April 4, 2011. Infogest aims at building an open international network of institutes undertaking multidisciplinary basic research on food digestion gathering scientists from different origins (food scientists, gut physiologists, nutritionists...). The network gathers 70 partners from academia, corresponding to a total of 29 countries. The three main scientific goals are: Identify the beneficial food components released in the gut during digestion; Support the effect of beneficial food components on human health; Promote harmonization of currently used digestion models Infogest meetings highlighted the need for a publication that would provide researchers with an insight into the advantages and disadvantages associated with the use of respective in vitro and ex vivo assays to evaluate the effects of foods and food bioactives on health. Such assays are particularly important in situations where a large number of foods/bioactives need to be screened rapidly and in a cost effective manner in order to ultimately identify lead foods/bioactives that can be the subject of in vivo assays. The book is an asset to researchers wishing to study the health benefits of their foods and food bioactives of interest and highlights which in vitro/ex vivo assays are of greatest relevance to their goals, what sort of outputs/data can be generated and, as noted above, highlight the strengths and weaknesses of the various assays. It is also an important resource for undergraduate students in the ‘food and health’ arena.

Book Gmelin Handbook of Inorganic and Organometallic Chemistry System Number 53

Download or read book Gmelin Handbook of Inorganic and Organometallic Chemistry System Number 53 written by Hans Schumann and published by . This book was released on 1991-01 with total page 368 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This volume continues the description of mononuclear cyclopentadienyl molybdenum compounds and their derivatives, 5LMo. It describes 5LMo compounds containing two CO groups, but no additional nL ligands. nL are denoted in these series as organic ligands bonded by n C atoms to the Mo atom. Derivatives include ligands X (e.g. halogens anions such as OSO2R, etc.) or mD (e.g. PR3, P(OR)3, ethers, thioethers, etc). mD are electron donor ligands, where m gives the number of donor electrons. Ionic compounds of this type with C5H5Mo(Co)3 - as counter anion are also described.

Book Mo Organomolybdenum Compounds

Download or read book Mo Organomolybdenum Compounds written by Hans Schumann and published by Springer. This book was released on 1992 with total page 416 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This volume 8 is the fourth in a series dealing with organomolybdenum compounds. An Empirical Formula Index and a Ligand Formula Index provide ready access to the compounds covered. Volume 5 describes mononuclear organomolybdenum compounds with isocyanide, 3 4 carbene, carbyne, alkynyl, alkene, alkyne, L, and L ligands with and without additional CO groups. Volume 6 starts the description of mononuclear organomolybdenum compounds with 5 one L Ligand, a Ligand bonded to molybdenum by five carbon atoms. The compounds contain either zero or one CO group bonded to the molybdenum atom. Volume 7 continues the 5 description of L-molybdenum compounds containing two CO groups, but no additional nl 5 ligands. This volume describes L-molybdenum compounds with two CO groups and additional 1 4 L to L ligands. Following the nomenclature used in this series of organomolybdenum com pounds, nl is an organic Ligand bonded by n C atoms to molybdenum, and mo is an electron 2 donor Ligand with m donor electrons. Thus 0 denotes a Ligand such as PR . 3 Many of the data, particular those in tables, are given in an abbreviated form without units; for explanations see p. X. Additional information, if necessary, is given before the individual table. Frankfurt am Main Manfred Winter November 1992 Wolfgang Petz X Remarks on Abbreviations and Dimensions Many compounds in this volume are presented in tables in which numerous abbreviations are used, the dimensions are omitted for the sake of conciseness. This necessitates the following clarifications.
