Banished for the past five years, she plans to use her aunt’s wedding to show the Henderson elite that she is no longer the boy crazy, wild, party-girl exhibitionist they all loved to gossip about. Yeah. Good luck with that. Josh McCourt, mild-mannered AP Computer Science teacher and newest assistant coach to Henderson High's football team, is ready to break away from his low-key image and take a walk on the wild side. He’s looking for the type of girl who’d sneak into the boy’s locker room after practice and let him chase her around. He’s looking for Molly. When the bad-girl-turned-good faces off with the good-boy-looking-for-bad at the town’s biggest wedding, all of Henderson is watching from the sidelines. This is one game both Molly and Josh are determined to win. Taming Molly is a fun and sexy 20,000 word stand-alone novella and the first in the DuVal Cousins series. All the books in the Heroes of Henderson Series are complete romances. Book Moonlight over England the Story of One Nightfighter Pilot

Download or read book Moonlight over England the Story of One Nightfighter Pilot written by Eric P. Donald and published by Xlibris Corporation. This book was released on 2013-04-18 with total page 529 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: I came across an old photo recently and pondered the people in it. The person in the centre was my late brother, Norman G. Donald of the RAF. The other figures in the photo I do not know, though I suspect they were his flight instructors at North Battleford, Canada. The photo bears my brothers script KING-PINS ALL!N. BATTLEFORD. After qualifying as a pilot, he sailed back to England and was posted to RAF Hunsdon just north of London in 1942. He was soon flying Douglas Havocs and Bristol Beaufighters. Night fighters were a new school of defence, but it was hopeless finding enemy aircraft in the dark. The Turbinlite device was fitted to the Beaufighters and Havocs, and the idea was to find the enemy somehow, guided by ground control using heavy ground radar units (too heavy to carry in aircraft), turn on the Turbinlite searchlight, and illuminate the enemy aircraft. A single-engined Hurricane fighter flying alongside then shot down the enemy aircraft. It did help to see the target as this same sky was full of thousands of Allied aircraft, all trying to avoid each other.

Book excerpt: Each of the authors brings a unique perspective, one being the parent of an infant who died of SIDS long before it was defined and who has brought understanding and comfort to untold thousands of other families so stricken. The others are proven investigators in the field. It is clear from their analyses that SIDS parents experience premonitions of doom nearly ten times more often than parents whose babies do not die. Clearly this is a signal for continued intensive study of the phenomenon.

Book The Beginner s Guide to Growing Heirloom Vegetables

Download or read book The Beginner s Guide to Growing Heirloom Vegetables written by Marie Iannotti and published by Timber Press. This book was released on 2012-01-11 with total page 252 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Growing your own vegetables has never looked, or tasted, so good. Are heirloom vegetables more difficult to grow than conventional hybrids? The Beginner's Guide to Growing Heirloom Vegetables debunks this myth by highlighting the 100 heirloom vegetables that are the easiest to grow and the tastiest to eat. Marie Iannotti makes it simple for beginning gardeners to jump on the heirloom trend by presenting an edited list based on years of gardening trial and error. Her plant criteria is threefold: The 100 plants must be amazing to eat, bring something unique to the table, and—most importantly—they have to be unfussy and easy to grow. Her list includes garden favorites like the meaty and mellow 'Lacinato' Kale, the underused and earthy 'Turkish Orange' Eggplant, and the unexpected sweetness of 'Apollo' Arugula.
