Book Differential Neural Networks For Robust Nonlinear Control Identification State Estimation And Trajectory Tracking

Download or read book Differential Neural Networks For Robust Nonlinear Control Identification State Estimation And Trajectory Tracking written by Alex Poznyak and published by World Scientific. This book was released on 2001-09-28 with total page 455 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book deals with continuous time dynamic neural networks theory applied to the solution of basic problems in robust control theory, including identification, state space estimation (based on neuro-observers) and trajectory tracking. The plants to be identified and controlled are assumed to be a priori unknown but belonging to a given class containing internal unmodelled dynamics and external perturbations as well. The error stability analysis and the corresponding error bounds for different problems are presented. The effectiveness of the suggested approach is illustrated by its application to various controlled physical systems (robotic, chaotic, chemical, etc.).

Book 3D Motion of Rigid Bodies

Download or read book 3D Motion of Rigid Bodies written by Ernesto Olguín Díaz and published by Springer. This book was released on 2018-12-06 with total page 474 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book offers an excellent complementary text for an advanced course on the modelling and dynamic analysis of multi-body mechanical systems, and provides readers an in-depth understanding of the modelling and control of robots. While the Lagrangian formulation is well suited to multi-body systems, its physical meaning becomes paradoxically complicated for single rigid bodies. Yet the most advanced numerical methods rely on the physics of these single rigid bodies, whose dynamic is then given among multiple formulations by the set of the Newton–Euler equations in any of their multiple expression forms. This book presents a range of simple tools to express in succinct form the dynamic equation for the motion of a single rigid body, either free motion (6-dimension), such as that of any free space navigation robot or constrained motion (less than 6-dimension), such as that of ground or surface vehicles. In the process, the book also explains the equivalences of (and differences between) the different formulations.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Motion Control Systems is concerned with design methods that support the never-ending requirements for faster and more accurate control of mechanical motion. The book presents material that is fundamental, yet at the same time discusses the solution of complex problems in motion control systems. Methods presented in the book are based on the authors' original research results. Mathematical complexities are kept to a required minimum so that practicing engineers as well as students with a limited background in control may use the book. It is unique in presenting know-how accumulated through work on very diverse problems into a comprehensive unified approach suitable for application in high demanding, high-tech products. Major issues covered include motion control ranging from simple trajectory tracking and force control, to topics related to haptics, bilateral control with and without delay in measurement and control channels, as well as control of nonredundant and redundant multibody systems. Provides a consistent unified theoretical framework for motion control design Offers graduated increase in complexity and reinforcement throughout the book Gives detailed explanation of underlying similarities and specifics in motion control Unified treatment of single degree-of-freedom and multibody systems Explains the fundamentals through implementation examples Based on classroom-tested materials and the authors' original research work Written by the leading researchers in sliding mode control (SMC) and disturbance observer (DOB) Accompanying lecture notes for instructors Simulink and MATLAB® codes available for readers to download Motion Control Systemsis an ideal textbook for a course on motion control or as a reference for post-graduates and researchers in robotics and mechatronics. Book Motion Control and Geometry

Download or read book Motion Control and Geometry written by Board on Mathematical Sciences and published by National Academies Press. This book was released on 1997-05-21 with total page 81 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Some of the modem developments described in Motion, Control, and Geometry include the geometric control of robot motion and craft orientation, how high-power precision micromotors are engineered for less invasive surgery and self-focusing lens applications, what a mobile robot on a surface has in common with one moving in three dimensions, and how the motion-control problem is simplified by a coupled oscillator's geometric grouping of degrees of freedom and motion time scales. The four papers in these proceedings provide a view through the scientific portal of today's motion-control geometric research into tomorrow's technology. The mathematics needed to carry out this research is that of modem differential geometry, and the questions raised in the field of motion-control geometry go directly to the research frontier. Geometry is a mathematical area too often neglected nowadays in a student's education. This publication will help adjust the control initially imposed about 2,300 years ago on one kind of "motion"- that of students entering Plato's Academy, where the following caveat was inscribed above the doorway: "Let no one ignorant of geometry enter here." Readers of these chapters will gain an appreciation of modem geometry and how it continues to play a crucial role in the context of motion control in cutting-edge science and technology.
