Le but de ce travail est l'amélioration du modèle numérique du supraconducteur, modéle récemment introduit dans le logiciel de calcul par éléments finis Flux3D. Le modèle numérique utilise des modèles macroscopiques et permet d'accéder aux différentes grandeurs électromagnétiques. Pour faire évoluer le modèle on a intégré le caractère anisotrope des phénomènes et ont a pris en compte le caractère axisymétrique de certains dispositifs. Une approche expérimentale (mesures des pertes A.C., études en régime de surintensité) permet de valider et de compléter la partie modélisation.

Book excerpt: Les travaux de recherche présentés dans cette thèse constituent une contribution à la modélisation et à la caractérisation expérimentale de supraconducteurs à haute température critique (HTC) en vue d'une meilleure intégration dans les machines électriques. Les travaux ont été menés sur deux axes complémentaires : - Développement d'approches de modélisation permettant le calcul des grandeurs électromagnétiques dans les supraconducteurs HTC sous champ propre ou à proximité d'autres sources, et, notamment en présence de pièces ferromagnétiques à perméabilité magnétique linéaire et non linéaire. Un intérêt particulier est porté aux méthodes intégrales qui présentent plusieurs avantages pour la modélisation de tels systèmes. Les résultats obtenus ont été validés par des comparaisons aux mesures et à des calculs numériques par la méthode des éléments finis. - Caractérisation expérimentale de ces matériaux afin de déterminer le courant critique en courant continu (DC) et les pertes dissipées en courant alternatif (AC). L'étude va de l'élément de base (rubans supraconducteurs) au système (machine électrique), montrant les difficultés rencontrées dans une telle caractérisation. Un prototype de machine synchrone à induit supraconducteur a également été réalisé et testé. Les premiers résultats de mesure obtenus sont présentés et validés par modélisation.

Néanmoins, il est primordial de connaître leurs pertes AC précisément pour dimensionner correctement les dispositifs. C'est pourquoi nous avons étudié dans un premier temps ces pertes AC dans un supraconducteur. Un modèle analytique applicable à une géométrie cylindrique (bobinages) a été ainsi développé et comparé à un modèle numérique. Nous avons réalisé des mesures expérimentales afin de comparer ces différents modèles. Dans le cadre du projet Européen READY, un transformateur supraconducteur monophasé HTC de 41 kVA a été entièrement dimensionné sur les plans électromagnétiques, thermiques et mécaniques. Ce transformateur, entièrement froid, pourra fonctionner dans l'azote liquide jusque vers 65 K ou l'hélium gazeux pour atteindre des températures inférieures. H sera refroidi par un tube puisé. De nombreuses expériences ont été faites pour valider nos choix et nous apporter certaines données expérimentales indispensables comme les pertes fer à froid où la résistance thermique de contact. Enfin, une étude très préliminaire sur différents transformateurs supraconducteurs d'une puissance de 30 MVA a permis de montrer l'intérêt de la technologie supraconductrice sur ces dispositifs.

This statement is patently false. It has been proven untrue by the testimony of many military officers and airmen and documentation of incidents involving UFOs and nuclear weapons, testimonies of which the U.S. Air Force was fully aware. Unidentified details many of these testimonies, some for the first time. As partial justification for its position, the Air Force cites a University of Colorado study that was contracted and paid for by federal funds. Unidentified reveals how this study was actually just another part of the plan to cover up the reality of the UFO phenomenon. For the first time, Unidentified publishes evidence that the investigators for the Colorado study knew about the UFO-related missile shutdown incidents but did not investigate them or include them in their final report.
