Cette démarche n’est pas anodine et a demandé beaucoup de réflexion de leur part afin que le libre accès reste un outil de santé public et non de consommation. Aussi, il est primordial que le patient comprenne qu’un médicament de médication officinale, comme les autres médicaments possède des contre-indications, des interactions médicamenteuses et des précautions d’emploi qu’il faut respecter et qui sont décrits dans cette thèse. Ainsi, même s’il est le grand acteur du libre accès, le patient doit être aidé du pharmacien qui de par sa formation et son accessibilité pourra l’accompagner dans sa démarche en toute sécurité.
