Book Miracle Dog Miracle God

Download or read book Miracle Dog Miracle God written by John McCreedy and published by Author House. This book was released on 2013-10-14 with total page 181 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Im more convinced than ever that if youre going to write a book it must come from deep inside you. I believe thats so true regarding the writing of any good book, but particularly this volume. While my first published work The Seers House arrived in one single vision at 3 oclock in the morning, my second endeavour Miracle Dog; Miracle God took a lot longer to emerge. For over ten years following my first publication, I was caught up in the mission field in Romania and literally didnt have time to write a follow-up. Indeed, only after Id returned from Romania and been separated from my best friend Snowbell, our Golden Retriever Labrador, did I really begin to accept that another book may be about to be birthed. I couldnt shake off the writing of this book and so eventually I sat down and wrote it. Nevertheless, Miracle Dog; Miracle God hasnt been the easiest manuscript to create for various reasons. Trying to keep to my subject matter what God the Father taught me about Himself through the love of a dog, when there was so much more to tell about our Romanian endeavours, hasnt been straightforward. Writing each chapter as a parable was equally challenging, but in the end I think Ive managed to produce what has been within me since 2008. Finally, the emotion I experienced writing about this remarkable little dog was quite unexpected. On numerous occasions I would have to literally down tools and shed tears, while at other times I laughed out loud and so enjoyed reminiscing about happier moments with Snowbell. My desire is that Miracle Dog; Miracle God will make you laugh and cry, yet also instruct you about the amazing unconditional love of God. After all, thats exactly what happened to me when I was introduced to Snowbell, a beautiful gift from God to my life, if ever there was one.

Book The Shepherd the Angel and Walter the Christmas Miracle Dog

Download or read book The Shepherd the Angel and Walter the Christmas Miracle Dog written by Dave Barry and published by Penguin. This book was released on 2008-11-04 with total page 128 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: One of the warmest, funniest, and most delightful Christmas stories ever—from Pulitzer Prize-winning author Dave Barry. With fond nostalgia, Dave Barry takes readers back to a simpler time: The year is 1960, and young Doug Barnes is playing a shepherd in the Christmas pageant at St. John’s Episcopal Church—which is a very big deal. But there are problems everywhere. His fellow shepherds are misbehaving, which makes their director, Mrs. Elkins, yell at all of them; the girl he likes is playing Mary opposite a Joseph who is depressingly smart, athletic, and cute; the family dog is doing very poorly, and they have no idea what they’re going to tell Doug’s little sister, Becky, who’s playing one of the Host of Angels and who loves the dog more than anything; and his dad’s just gotten a flat tire, which means they might not even get to the pageant after all. But Christmas is a time of miracles. And for Doug and his family, this will be the most miraculous Christmas of all.

The Miracle Dog series is appropriate for ages 5-10. Do you know why God involves Himself in our lives? Because God is love and love does!” —Bob Goff, author of the New York Times bestseller Love Does “Every day we all are faced with stress, situations we can’t control and often the fear that we really are all alone. . . . These stories give us courage in times of peril and strengthen us when we feel helpless.”—TobyMac, top Christian artist and Grammy Award winner “In It’s a God Thing true servants of God share how their lives were transformed when their understanding became the Father’s. My good friend Don Jacobson, publisher of The Prayer of Jabez, has once again launched the perfect message for today—don’t miss it!”—Bruce Wilkinson, author, The Prayer of Jabez “There is nothing better than hearing others talk about the ways that God has intervened in their lives. Miracles happen every day all around the world. These stories are incredible.”—Robert D. Smith, author, 20,000 Days and Counting “God doesn’t need for us to be aware of the miracles He’s performing, but they’re happening every day! It’s a God Thing, a new book from K-LOVE, is a powerful vehicle to tell the story of a number of those miracles.”—Brandon Heath, 2008 New Artist of the Year Dove Award winner

I-15 for two months waiting for the car he knew would bring him home --Eddie, the beagle, who walked 450 miles over four months to reunite with disabled four-year-old Jimmy, inspiring the boy to work harder on his own recovery. Four-Legged Miracles will tug on readers' heartstrings, but it will also discuss common reasons dogs disappear, how to get a missing dog back faster, the dog-human bond, and the science behind some of the amazing journeys these dogs endure. Book excerpt: Are you tapping into the miracles that God promised you? This book will change my perspective of God to see that no matter what the enemy or the world throws at me, He has given me thousands of promises to overcome these obstacles. For forty-five years, Larry and Tiz Huch have been teaching believers how to access the promises God has given in His Word. They have shared keys for activating, receiving, and releasing miracles, and taught principles of faith and prayer to help believers reach God’s great destiny for their lives. But in the last three years, the Huchs have gained an even deeper revelation of how to overcome the enemy’s attacks and access God’s promises as they walked through two life-altering traumas—and two life-altering victories. Both Tiz Huch and the Huchs’ seven-month-old grandson, Lion, were diagnosed with aggressive forms of cancer and faced grim prognoses. But God had the last word! In Miracles by the Moment, pastors Larry and Tiz Huch share their journey through one of the most challenging seasons of their lives and how they walked out, moment by moment, the foundational principles of prayer and faith they’ve lived by and taught for years. Drawing lessons from the Huchs’ journey as well as others who walked through different circumstances, this book offers hope and encouragement for those facing various types of challenges—in their families, marriages, finances, careers, or health. Sometimes breakthrough comes in the form of one giant miracle. More often, it comes in the form of thousands of small miracles that add up to huge breakthroughs! We don’t have to beg God to help and bless us. He already has! This book will teach readers what God promises us and the steps they can take to enter into those promises.
